Wrist Watches Review: Great buy - Beautiful watch Review: Update 5: Seller clarified mistakes in instructions, watch runs flawlessly now - Don't know what happened to my update 4 but the issues have been resolved as seen below and hopefully they will correct their instructions going forward. My original comments at the bottom now take effect again. Update 5: I have now been wearing the watch for over 3 days, including nights, so as to see if the watch stopped due to non-movement during periods of sleep and can now say that the watch seems to maintain time flawlessly with zero stoppages. Due the clarification of the procedure for winding the mainspring, which needs to be added to a new manual as well as the video offered as instruction previously, the watch has had sufficient reserve to allow for normal movement to keep the watch running. I will be posting this in a new review update reflecting your tireless efforts at helping me resolve discrepancies in the instructions. I hope you will endeavor to correct the instructions so future users of this watch can enjoy a good experience from the outset. Thanks for your help. Update 3: received replacement, bought a watch winder case, set it up and let it run it's normal cycle for over two weeks with 12 hours of winding and 12 hours off. Watch appeared to be running ok and left it alone for the second week. Took watch out of winder and wore it around for the day not really paying attention when I stopped for a lunch and noticed the watch was several hours off. Re-set it and wore it without incident the rest of the day and into the night. When I awoke the next morning the watch had stopped again. This is a huge disappointment for a watch in this price range. I own a Seiko mechanical and never had this much aggravation in keeping it running. Still have not heard back from seller after all this time. Won't be ordering anymore from this brand. Update 2. Since the seller has not responded and the watch refuses to stay running, I am requesting a replacement for review and evaluation. Will update after further review. The watched stopped during the first night which I thought was odd as I had been holding it and rotating my wrist for some time to build up energy in the storage capacitor before putting it back in the box to monitor the time keeping per suggestion in the owners manual. I began reading the owners manual and discovering that the second hand should not be sweeping around the dial like a Rolex but should be ticking off the seconds like a normal watch and that indicated the power may not be enough to keep the watch running. So I held the watch for over a half hour rotating it to spin the flywheel while I watched some videos. The second hand still is sweeping the dial but the watch has kept running for over 36 hours so far. I wrote customer support about the above and asked if I might have a defective watch. I haven't heard back as of yet but I will wait before adjusting the band to see if i need to send it back. Will advise as to results. First thing you notice is the quality, fit and finish. This is no cheap wanna be. It even mimics the sweep second hand movement of a Rolex, at first glance, as the second hand has very little jerkiness in it's progression and almost seems to swing smoothly around. The back is clear so you can see the self winding kinetic pendulum swing as you move it. The back has a screw on bezel with waterproof gasket and mineral crystal lens same as the face glass. The movement looks well made and precise and is very accurate per my instruments matching the manufacturer's claims which are impressive at this price range. There are not any major settings to deal with save for the 24 hour dial and the date. The band has 6 links per side that are removable for sizing and comes with a special tool for pushing the link pins out and there are two additional pin pushers in the bottom of the tool in case you lose or break one. The black matte finish and black dial look sleek and modern and make a bold statement on your wrist. Very nice watch.

Isn’t this a Semi-automatic watch?
So, while reading the instructions it asks to observe the watch for a coupe of days. Wind the clock up to 30 rotations and see if it runs for 24 hours. Mine never ran for 24 hours but I’m not sure if I did the 30 rotations correctly as I’m afraid to break it. But it says to take it out of the box and give it some movement if it stops. So, I did move it back and forth and started running again. I own an automatic watch and they are great because as long as you have them on, they run. But this watch has both features, so doesn’t that make it a semi-automatic watch? Obviously, I’m not a watch movement expert I just know the subtle differences between quartz, mechanical and automatic. Anyways, I like this feature, I like the color to me is a bit more like a dark gun metal. It has a semi-matte appearance. The luminous dial and hands are not as strong as you would think. The resizing tool is a great addition but you have some guessing to do when trying to push the pin out, do it carefully. The instructions to use the resizing tool are not in the box you have to come to the item listing. I notice more and more sellers are doing this practice and is not acceptable. Most customers will not come back to the item listing to read instructions but to return products or leave negative feedback. Overall, I think this is a very nice watch but the real beauty is in the craftsmanship of it.

This watch is very impressive, yet understated.
I like that this watch is simple and to the point, and elegant at the same time. The black face and band have always been my preferred look. It always looks classy, goes with everything and never goes out of style. I’m surprised at how brightly the watch glows in the dark. Very nice feature. I was pleased to see that Ebohr includes a little press so you can remove the links to fit the watch to your wrist. The double-clasp release system is not often seen. I like it. It’s easy to operate. The watch has a really good weight to it. Not flimsy at all, but not a gigantic clock either. It looks great on my slight wrist. This is a 21 jewel watch. That means it’s a quality watch that uses 21 synthetic jewels at key points in the mechanism. This will exponentially extend the watch’s functional lifespan. I like that the watch is self-powered. by movement. No winding and no batteries. As long as you’re wearing it, it’s winding itself. You can view the pendulum that provides the kinetic energy from the back of the watch. It’s skeletonized so you can see everything inside. The second hand has a unique design and makes a continuous sweeping motion opposed to a ticking. That’s something I’ve seen on watches that cost thousands. It has a small date display at the 3 position. There’s a small dial to the left showing where you are In the 24 hours of the day. I truly like this watch!! It would make a fine gift for any Man who needs a classy, quality timepiece. I’m proud to own and wear it!

Excellent Watch! Looks Much Classier Than The Image Portrays!
I love watches, so I took a chance and gave this Ebohr watch a try. I'm so glad that I did! I was pleasantly surprised at how well made it is. The images in the listing absolutely do not convey the classiness this watch has. It has heft, which gives it a sense of being worth multiples of what it actually sells for. Oh, and yes, it keeps time perfectly. This face size is not too large and not too small. The band can easily be adjusted to fit your wrist with a band kit. Highly recommended, especially for Amazon's low listed selling price.
