Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max, 512GB, Space Black for GSM (Renewed)

I am not one to write reviews, but I read them before making any purchase and there was mixed reviews on these phones, so I decided to write one incase anyone was on the fence or apprehensive on buying a phone on amazon like I was. I got this iPhone 14 pro max in excellent condition and it is exactly that. My battery health was at 100% capacity. It also came with a charger and a charging block. It has absolutely no cosmetic issues, no scratches or cracks. I was very skeptical buying a phone off of amazon especially seeing that it was refurbished, but it’s almost like it’s a brand new phone. I bought the carrier unlocked option and it was super easy to set up without having to go to my carrier. Soooooooo worth the money. Trust me it buy it!

I ordered this phone and then made the mistake of reading all of the negative reviews. It sounds like a lot of people have had bad experiences with the Amazon Renewed phones. However, mine actually ended up alright.The battery has 86% capacity left; so it isn’t ideal but still within the advertised specs. The front and back of the phone are in good condition, but the buttons have some weird residue (I assume it’s from the previous owner’s case). The included accessories are definitely third party and low quality, but I’ll hold onto them just in case.I was debating between a new iPhone 15 or this refurbished 14 pro max, and I’m happy I went this way. The specs look pretty identical, but this one was much cheaper and I think the purple finish looks a lot nicer than the newer offerings.

tl;dr version: Buy from the Amazon Renewed store at your own risk. If Amazon sends you the wrong phone by mistake, expect at least two hours with support to get it resolved.It sucks to have to write a negative review about a bad experience with Amazon, but this is the world we live in. Quick summary: I purchased this iPhone 14 Pro Max from the Amazon Renewed store. What I received was this yellow iPhone XR as shown in the photo. A whole lot of suckiness; however, it assuredly gets worse.I reached out to Amazon's customer service because I figured it was as simple as them saying, "Oh, whoops! We messed up! We'll send you a replacement and you can send us the wrong one back. Here's a li'l credit for your trouble because we biffed it!" Sike!The first rep told me he couldn't replace it because it was a third party item - which was wrong, as I bought it from Amazon directly as part of their Renewed store. The rep told me to just buy another one, send the old one back, and then they'll refund me for the purchase of the flubbed-up phone. To be clear: I had to pay, up front, another $900 for a replacement phone and wait until I returned the old phone to get a refund. To make things even stankier, the iPhone 14 Pro Max went up $84 since my purchase. When I mentioned that to the rep, he gave me one of these ¯\_(ツ)_/¯I escalated up the chain to a supervisor, who parroted the first guy's response. Again, they want me to pay up front for a replacement phone plus an extra $84 for the new purchase price. The supervisor had a little more pull, so I negotiated for a credit for the price difference. This was after around an hour in their chat.Here's another thing that Amazon shrugged about: I have to be home to hand deliver the return to a UPS driver. I can't drop it off somewhere, or print my own label and take it to UPS, or put it in a UPS drop-off container. As someone who works during the day, I'm not able to be home to do this. "Oh, they'll just leave a label at your door if you're not there," the supervisor says. To recap: I cannot print my own label, but a UPS driver will come to my house and leave one for me if I'm not there to give him the package.To recap:- I purchased an iPhone 14 Max Pro from Amazon and received the wrong phone.- Amazon would not send me a replacement, rather they asked me to re-purchase the phone at a higher price.- I had to negotiate with a supervisor in order to get a credit for the cost of the phone.- I cannot print the replacement label for the wrong phone and take it somewhere, but rather a UPS driver has to come to my house and physically take the package from me. Only then will I get a refund for the wrong phone.This was an exciting purchase turned sour. It was enough to give a normal person anxiety and to make an anxious person spiral out of control. Buy at your own risk, or not at all.

I wasn't very sure what to expect from ordering an used iPhone through Amazon, but honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. The phone arrived in very good condition, with no scratches except for a few on the screen, which are very hard to see. The battery is almost like new, and I really liked that detail. I thought I would receive a phone with a very poor battery, but it was the opposite. So far, I am happy with my purchase and have nothing to complain about.

My purchase of iPhone 14 Pro Max, 1 TBFirst, the cons:- 87% battery health/capacity out of box, which is within their 80-100% specified range for a refurbished phone, but should not qualify as "excellent" condition. This phone has clearly been put through quite a few charging cycles. As soon as the battery capacity falls to 80%, the iOS will throttle down the performance to decrease power consumption. I will need to spend roughly $100 to get a new battery within the next year or so.- There is a minor scratch near the small screen-side camera, which does not seem to impact the photo quality but is easily visible from beyond the 12" distance that they claim you should not be able to see any damage from.- There was a bit of grimy residue around the base of the three main cameras; that area could have been cleaned better.- For the price paid for this phone, quality should be spec'd as "very good" overall rather than "excellent."- Very generic, uninspiring box it was packaged in. Says "Smartphone Device - Data Apps Web" and looks like a prank gift box for a white elephant gift exchange. Overall weak packaging and shipping mailer. The box should be iphone 14 pro max specific and a bit higher quality for the > $900 price tag.The pros:- Function has been perfect- Overall appearance, with exception of very small scratches on screen, is like-new- Fast shipping- Provided a wall charger and USB-C to Lightning power adapter- Price seems reasonable for what you getConclusion: Worth the cost and overall happy with the quality of the phone. My only significant pain point is the 87% battery health I got with my phone. For the amount of money they're charging, I would recommend that they work in battery replacement for any phone below 95% battery health. A phone in "excellent" condition should have an almost-new if not brand new battery.

This sellers renewed iphone 14 pro max exceeded my expectations. The condition showed excellent but it was perfect. I would say premium. The battery health was 100%. We’ll packed and received quickly. Highly recommend seller.

Was very skeptical buying 2 renewed iPhone 14 pro max gold phones. Both were like new, no scratches on front or back, battery on both were 100%. They came in generic boxes, both had different sim remove tools and not original chargers but that’s not why I bought the phones. Shipped to me in 4 days, regular shipping. Time will tell but they are excellent as described and we were not able to tell they were renewed phones. Aside from the price 1200$ each plus tax, it was a great purchase.

Was very hesitant buying refurb iPhone, happily tho everything worked out just fine. iPhone 14PM had 95% of battery life (really good) and ZERO scratches or dings anywhere, came with screen protector applied (didnt expect that) and all cameras perfect all functions (speakers mics, wifi, bluetooth, faceid) work as they should. Phone was already reset and ready to activate, which it did without issues. I hated the new colours on the 15 series and dont really care for USB C or anything like that as I have years of investments in lightning cables that work just fine. iPhone was shipped quickly and wrapped in bubble wrap in a box. Will keep this seller in mind for future purchases due to the great experience.
