Great product
Used them in my Dutch Iven for sourdough bread. First bottom that wasnโt overcooked!! They worked great and did not discolor from the heat.

Never used anything like this before but it work well during the holidays for baking. I like it that they are reusable.

Good value
So far appear to be excellent. Quite a bit of ceramic dust that needed to be washed off, but their instructions suggest putting parchment paper between the crust and the weights, which would alleviate any contamination concerns.

Work great!
These weights worked just fine for me. There are enough in the package for one pie. The size is good. They come in a disposable bag, so you need something to store them in. They are easy to wash and you can't beat the price. No need to pay more

Easy to use whenever needed
For the dessert baker, there are going to be times when you need to pre-bake a crust, and when that happens you know that you need to weigh it down (huge, puffy crust anyone). When you need to pre-bake a crust, these weights are perfect. They are just little balls of hardened ceramic, but they are evenly shaped and weighted, and the 2 lb bag is enough to properly fill and weigh down the crust, no matter what size. If you use parchment paper, you won't even need to clean them after, but cleaning is relatively easy. Drying takes time, but a cookie sheet and sun shine work well. I have used these numerous times, and they still appear as new, clean and white. And no puffed up crust bubbles. Win win

Great for standard 9โ pie dish
This was my first purchase of ceramic pie weights. I was very pleased with this set. They arrived in good condition, none were cracked or broken. They are very easy to use; I rinsed them in a colander with water, poured them out onto a dish drying mat and used paper towels to dry them. They dried almost instantly and I was able to use them right away in my parchment lined pie crust. I was able to lift out the parchment, using it like a hammock to remove the ceramic weights and promptly use them in the next pie crust. Theyโre easily stored in a mason jar or even in a plastic bag in a pie dish in the cabinet. I highly recommend these! Iโll be buying a second set so I can make a deep dish pie, these only are good for one standard 9โ, shallow pie.

I've used these multiple times and they have not cracked or discoloured. To bake a 9in shell: 1) Poke holes in the crust with a fork. 2) Lay a square piece of parchment paper on top. Make sure the parchment piece is large enough to lift it out easily, without spilling all the weights --- see Pic. 3) Put all the weights in. 4) Bake 15 min. at 375 F in the bottom quarter part of oven. 5) Remove the parchment & weights. Bake an additional 5 min. Perfect results --- see Pic where crust is on a cooling rack. Important: After using, always wash the weights with a little bit of dish soap in water , and dry them well before storing.

Appears to be good quality. One bag isnโt enough for one pie.

much smaller (average 7mm), too light. unless you buy 2 or 3 packs at once, not much use. you'd be better off getting genuine ceramic beads from somewhere else

They do the job and the where very good but will have to buy another packet less than expected due to there weight
