Always wanted a set of these knives, they are so unique; but they were a little expensive. So when I saw them for the Amazon price, I ordered them. When they arrived, I was a little disappointed with the quality. They do not seem to have smooth and polished finishes. There are rough, sharp and unfinished areas which you have to be very careful with while using them as you can cut your fingers/hand. There are sharp metal pieces protruding from handle part near bottom of blade area. And as for the blade itself, it is very thin and probably won't stand up to normal daily use. For the price I will keep them but don't expect them to last very long, and I am a person who takes good and careful care of my things.
