Anyone checked the accuracy of this scales with a fixed known weight?

What battery size I need for this please?

Hi. You will require 2 X AAA batteries for this unit. The battery compartment is located on the back of the units under a flap. Ian

Does this record the max weight, so no need to look at scale during use? (previous answers not clear)

These scales will lock on the maximum stabilised weight, so there is no need to look at them during use. Alternatively, if you want a continuous weight readout, the lock mode can be toggled on/off by pressing the tare button for 2 seconds.
