I live in Washington State. If it ain't rainin' here now, it will be five minutes from now lol.Microphones react less salubriously to vigorous watering than, say, roses.Enough said?(These are nice insurance for your mic's electrical well-being, but I have no basis yet to compare acoustic/sonic characteristics with non-cased mics...will update if/when I do.)

i have the mic /holder/charger/handle, ordered the actual mic still waiting but the items i got so far are good quality, they are easily packed and are sturdy, and not cheaply built.

Film these cases fit absolutely perfectly. And they protect your expensive equipment from both water and abrasive elements like dust and grit. I couldn’t notice any degradation of transmission or signal so there’s actually no downside of using these under any circumstances. You never know when it’s going to start raining. A little bit on the pricey side but much cheaper than the equipment they are going to protect so I think it is a worthwhile investment.

I got this waterproof case for my Blink 900 Transmitter because I use them on the beach regularly. With the sand, wind & salt air, I wanted to protect my investment and this does the trick. I am impressed with the quality build of the case itself. It is thick acrylic material with metal hinges and clip, and there is a rugged silicone cover for the power button that allows you to power the transmitter on & off. There were no issues detected with transmission while in the case. This waterproof case opens up new ideas for me and I'm very excited about the possibilities. This is a great case and I would recommend to a friend.

(Please see attached video for details, but the gist is this):I think this is a good product - some pretty clever engineering went into designing it, clearly.I do think it's over-priced, but if you need this specific functionality and can afford it, I would definitely recommend it.

This is an extremely well built little case. It's like a tiny tiny dive box. Everything fits very precisely and lines up properly with the microphone; it also seals up very completely and authoritatively. I have no doubt you could do ridiculous things like underwater vlogging (note: I have doubts, do not do this) and your mic would be fine.
