Great saddle
I've been using this model for at least ten years. This one fits me great. Pretty durable and very comfortable.

So Comfortable
I don't know the science behind seat designs but after having had three, all of which were so uncomfortable, I was beginning to despair. I cycle 100km, per week, and my backside was so soar, after an hour or more in the seat. I was beginning to get desperate until I purchased the Fizik Arione R3. It is so comfortable and enables me to spend so much longer on my bike.I recommend this to anyone who needs a great looking, super comfortable seat.

This saddle was a disappojntment.
This saddle is very hard. It is difficult to find a comfortable position. The saddle is easily damaged. Caught my shorts on the nose of the saddle and the foam separated from the saddle. I would not buy this saddle.

Great Saddle!
Comfort is relative when it comes to cycling saddles. So let me start off by saying I personally find this saddle comfortable, high quality and long. It is stiff, but the shape is perfect for my flexibility and riding style. If you're looking for a cruising saddle, this seat probably isn't for you.If you're considering this saddle, go to Fizik's website and use their fitting software, it'll suggest a saddle for you!

It's got carbon rails
Be aware that this saddle has carbon rails and they are thicker than an alloy rail. I had to get a longer adjustment bolt for my seat post clamp to accommodate the rails. I bought this saddle because I have an older Arione I've ridden on for many years and love it. This version is made for the "snake" (high level of pelvic flexibility; you can bend over and palm the floor without bending your knees). It doesn't have much padding and the perineum cut-out is a separate piece of plastic that joins the two wings (in the older model there is no change in material; there is simply a depression in the center of the saddle to accommodate the perineum) and I have no idea how these three separate pieces will hold up over time.I've only got around 300 miles on this saddle so far. It has taken some getting used to and, as I said above, am uncertain of how the saddle will hold up in the long run. I have my doubts...UPDATE: I am now around 1400 miles into this saddle and it's holding up fine. No concerns whatsoever!

Great seat!
Love this seat, had the prior version made of plastic/fiberglass. This ones is lighter and more comfortable. Worth the extra few bucks.

It feels like your sitting in a plank of wood.
Might be alright if you have a flat butt.

Great fit and feel
Replaced stock saddle that I had since buying the bike. This may be a little firmer but the open design still makes it quite comfortable. So far just used on the smart trainer but will be on the roads soon!

Hard, but very comfortable
It is very comfortable for a relatively aggressive position. Moreover, it is flat enough for moving around in the saddle for fit different position on the bike and avoid fatigue. I really like it.
