Freshening Spray for Dogs, Sunkissed Breeze, 8 oz

This smells amazing. It truly smells like the typical grooming scent after a dog has been to the groomer - just dialed down. It’s fresh, it’s clean, it’s soft and it’s not overpowering. I’m very annoying about fragrances - I love using them but I’m absurdly picky about what I can tolerate. I really like both of these scents but the one I’m talking about here is the SUNKISSED BREEZE. Read further for some tips I’ve picked up in using this. Here are some tips! You need to use this stuff sparingly because wet dog fur is stinky dog fur. Period. I have 2 large elderly dogs (12.5 years old) and they have bladder issues in their sleep. They both wear dog diapers to bed but will sometimes have a few drops or a few ounces of urine when they wake up. Sometimes it’s a a bigger peepee accident. Diaper protects my bedding but those drops or ounces are pressed against my dogs fur all night. So I dab their privates with damp toilet paper (just water and TP - dogs don’t need chemicals on their privates). Then dab with dry TP. Then I spray Natures Miracle Freshening Spray on to a baby wipe and clean the areas *around* their privates. Then I dry with a paper towel or washcloth or more dry TP. If it’s a bit more than just a little leak - after the baby wipe + Natures Miracle, I’ll spray the Natures Miracle on to a paper towel and do an undiluted cleanup. I then pat their privates with damp and then dry TP again - to make sure none of the spray got on there. Gets rid of the urine and there’s no wet dog smell. There’s really no scent at all, usually but if there is - it’s very subtle and delightful because the super mild fragrance of this product is so pleasant. For the rest of them - I’ll spray 2 - 3 sprays on a dry paper towel and lightly brush over the top of their heads, shoulders and back. Turn over and spray the other side and lightly brush over the lower back and sides of hips. I’ve sprayed directly on my dogs back from a good distance but it still made them stink a bit like wet dog and it totally backfired. Once I figured out the dry paper towel and light brushing over the fur - that’s the sweet spot. My dogs get bathed every 2-3 weeks (sooner if they have a big accident but baths are getting really hard for them at their age). I launder their bedding at least once weekly. I clean their privates after they pee and poop. They are clean. But they are old. And old dogs are a bit stinky - that’s just the way it is. The **MOST IMPORTANT THING** about this product is - it helps to maintain my dogs dignity. Anyone who’s had old dogs who are housebroken - it doesn’t matter how patient and kind you are - they feel ashamed when they have an accident. It’s heartbreaking. It really brings down their mood and they can withdraw. This beautiful product tho - when used right - can basically erase the urine scent. My dogs go from sad and mopey to happy and engaged once they’re cleaned up. I don’t care if it’s 2am, 7am, a 4pm nap - I’ll always take care of them and keep their pride in tact. This stuff is gold!!!! I wasn’t paid for this review. I had no incentive other than wanting to help other dog owners and their dogs. I’m not a bot - I’m a lady with two really sweet old dogs. I’m writing this at 1am after a cleanup of my old boy. He’s dry and fresh and fast asleep again, with a new male wrap diaper and clean fur - not stressed and hiding and upset. I’ll always have a spare bottle of this around. Also keep your dogs teeth brushed to reduce overall doggy stinks. Makes a big difference! Hope this helps.

Just as I’ve experienced with other Natures Miracle products like shampoos and carpet cleaners, this product is excellent. Just a small few sprays and my stinky dog looses the smells. This doesn’t make him smell like a perfume factory, but rather neutralizes bad smells without adding scents of its own. Really great stuff, by far the best between-baths odor eliminator I’ve tried. Highly recommended.

Ordered 5 similar products, this was only 1 i actually received. Others "returned" prior to delivery, not by me but by Amazon. So congrats on getting it here. Works well, decent price, just takes a little. I can't smell it at all but that mite be me. Don't smell yucky dog smell so it's working. No complaints.

I have 3 big dogs that live primarily inside. They go out to potty & run around then come back inside and inevitably curl up on the couch, try the bed, etc. I bathe them frequently (at least monthly) because I can’t stand smelly dogs, this stuff works GREAT for in-between baths!! Or for last-minute guests. It’s like febreeze for dogs! It was deeply discounted when I purchased, so only paid a few dollars but works well enough to be worth the regular price. I’ve tried several different deodorizing sprays on my dogs (ie the $12 Chi spray) and none seemed to do much besides but make them smell like dog stink and crap perfume. This actually seems to get to the source of the odor & neutralize it as much as possible. One dog had a rash when I unknowingly sprayed him, didn’t seem to bother him at all. Don’t know why but when I go to the cabinet and get the bottle out, the dogs crowd around to be the first in line for “perfume” so they like it just fine too!

This spray is alright. My puppy likes it because he lifts up his chin and sits still so I can spray his whole body. The scent is fresh and herbal, and this spray doesn’t cause any skin irritation, but it doesn’t last very long. I end up spraying him twice a day. So, I probably will not buy it again.

This product makes my stinky shepherd-mix smell nice and fresh. Not quite "just home from the groomer" fresh, but definitely way better than "just finished rolling around in who knows what after sweating profusely in 90-degree heat." It's been a long summer. Lots of rolling. I've gone through a lot of this spray. This product, unlike some others I've tried, doesn't rely on a super-strong aroma to mask the dog stench. It's light enough that I don't mind it, but still very effective. It doesn't last more than a day or so, but given the price of this product I don't mind using it heavily. Only downside? My dog bolts the moment the bottle comes into sight. If she hears the sound of the spray, she runs even faster. So application is a matter of secretly spraying some on my hands, then sneaking up on her to rub it into her fur. (At which point she tries to lick it off.) What I need next is perhaps a robotic application unit, or maybe a big washing machine into which I can put the dog after she romps around the yard. Well, I can dream... In the meantime, I'm stocking up on this stuff.

Very pleasantly surprised by how well this stuff works. I use a couple of sprays on each dog throughout the week and brush it into their coat. It doesn't take much and they smell SO much better. Anytime they come in from rain or if they roll in something particularly stinky, it is a big help. It keeps them fresh between baths and it doesn't leave a wet dog smell. Easy to use and the bottle doesn't leak as all. We got this seven months ago and even with fairly regular use, we still have about 1/4 of the bottle left. I will absolutely be ordering this again once it's gone.

This product has got to be the BEST of the best when it comes to smell, value for your money, and truly does what it’s meant to do. Who wants their dog coming in from outside smelling like a dog lol we all know our pets can go out briefly only to come in like they’ve been outside all day, well this stuff truly does knock out that outside dog smell and makes your pet smell like they just come from the groomers. It smells amazing. It doesn’t take a lot either. I’ve been using this product for over a year now on our Australian Shepherd. I will say using it over a long period of time it does make her coat feeling dirty but to me that’s to be expected since we only bath our Aussie about 3x a year. I do not think you will be disappointed with this product, I know I haven’t! It’s my go to now to get my Aussie smelling good.

Nice scent not over powering like some and it smells good compared to others I have tried in the past.
