Is this a gasket for the power steering reservoir cap

This gasket goes from the reservoir to the pump, I don't think the cap needs a gasket. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this brand, in my experience it leaked and I had to buy the original MB gasket which is like $3 and never had a problem with it. ECS tuning sells a kit with all you need if you're replacing the reservoir, that's the best way to go if you don't want to go with the dealer.

Does it work with 2007 ML320 CDI?

It will work if the same pump is used as an ML350. Unfortunately, it will leak again in a while after because this seal is one of the many flaws with the ML series. I suggest using a little sealer on the O-ring and mating surface to prolong the repair...and try not to lose the "C" clip.

Power steering makes squeaking noise

Most likely is that your power steering fluid is low. If your car is a Mercedes, make sure to use the right type of fluid. Don't use just any power steering fluid. Mercedes recommends using Pentosin CHF 11s only. Good luck!
