Great pellets for homemade pizza. Smells good and burns well.

I recently bought a bag of Kona Pizza Oven Blend Wood Smoker Pellets for my pellet pizza oven (works great with Ninja Woodfire, Ooni-style, Big Horn, and similar setups), and I’m seriously impressed. These 100% natural hardwood pellets deliver exactly what you want for homemade pizza: consistent burn, rich but not overpowering smoky flavor, and that authentic wood-fired taste that makes your pies taste like they came from a neighborhood pizzeria.

I was pleasantly surprised. These smell so good. As soon as we put them in everyone around us noticed .

I think, in my pizza oven, they burn up too fast. I cannot control the air flow to the pellets, so I suppose makes them burn up quickly. Have to keep a close eye on them to add more before the oven gets too cool to cook.

So the pellets work great in my pizza oven. A little pricey but heats quickly!

These are ok but, are very hard to light. Once they are lit they burn up quickly.

You need good pellets to cook pizza in oven

If you have a pellet smoker, you can get an extra smell.

So overpriced, $20 for two tiny 2-pound bags. Even the 20-pound bag of high quality Ooni pellets is far, far cheaper. Lit and burned easily enough, but very, very smoky compared to higher quality pizza oven pellets. Next time we'll just buy a large bag of quality oak pellets at a local store.

$25 for a bag the size of a bag of chips. I've only ever seen pellet bags in one size at the store, all for around $20 a bag. I made the mistake of thinking this bag was the same size.......... This bag is a joke for the $25 I paid taxes in. If this was at your local home Depot it would be $8-10. It's a rip off. I returned it right away once I saw the size of the bag, I don't care how good the pellets are.
