Absolutely what I needed. Gets a little residue from dishwasher. Not worth knocking a star though. I think its a great little contraption!

It has some heft!
This was heavier than I expected, but that's not bad. The weight adds to the durability. This works great for flipping omelets, pancakes, and grilled cheese sandwiches (much easier than a regular spatula). It would probably be great for grilling, too.

Strong, easy to handle
I like the strong spatula for top and bottom of theses tongs, the material is strong silicon and is stiff. It slides under items that I have cooked inside a pan easily and grips for easy turnover I have found. The included clasp goes around the handles to help keep it closed when storing which is a nice plus.
