Love My Tiny Phone
I have to say I am pleasantly impressed of my new tiny phone. My main concern was keyboard accuracy but surprisingly it's not an issue no more than a regular-sized phone. It feels great ergonomically in my hands. I can read the screen clearly and it comes already with a screen protector (you get a 2nd one as a spare) and case installed to the phone. You do get a charger block unlike the popular namebrand phones, so there's that too if you need one. The sound quality was better than expected and the speakerphone is VERY LOUD and clear. You can make it even louder in the device settings but the default setting is loud enough imo. I am coming to this phone from a Samsung Z Fold5 which is a $2000 phone and I have to say I see no difference performance-wise between the two. This tiny phone is fast and I haven't experienced any lag or lock ups. I use NFC a lot and it works great if not even faster than my Z Fold5. My Samsung Buds Pro also work perfectly with it with great sound. Finger sensor also works great. I don't really have any cons but I do have a few peeves. The volume button doesn't increase/decrease with holding it down like other phones, so you have to keep pressing it to change it. As expected, the camera quality is not good, it's blurry and off-colored because it's sensitive to indoor lights. Images may have a yellow hue that have to be corrected with custom settings, so you can't just use the default camera settings with this phone. I had to adjust the white balance. You don't buy a $200 mini phone for camera-quality anyway but it's great for just capturing moments. My other peeve is that it runs completely on the Google ecosystem of apps and nothing works without them. I don't like Google so I normally uninstall all their apps when I get an Android, but you can't do that with this phone. First, you can't uninstall the Google apps, you can only disable them. But if you disable them, then some features on the phone won't work. For instance, I disabled Google Photos but then I couldn't view any of my pictures or set wallpapers, so I was forced to reinstall it. Just something to note for other people out there who rebuke Google products. I was able to replace something though, like I was able to disable Google Drive so I could use Proton Drive. The built-in IR remote app doesn't work with anything I've tried, so I think that app just doesn't work. But overall, this phone is a fun tiny powerful novelty phone that I got for no other reason than being the tiniest I could find without sacrificing the features of my Z Fold5. My boyfriend laughs at it. Never heard of Unihertz but you've won a new customer. As long as the quality keeps up through the years, I will definitely stick with this brand (Samsung lost me as a customer with their latest phone release). And this is coming from a diehard Samsung fan since the first Samsung smartphone.

A solid little phone that can help you focus on the things that matter.
I've had my jelly star for about a month now and I love it. I got it because I wanted to spend less time on my phone, but not go pure dumb phone because I like to use services like Amazon music and others.. The jelly star allowed me to accomplish that goal while not getting sucked into the click stream. I combined the super small phone with simple UI launcher that keeps the phone from being a distraction for me. It took a while to get used to, but I really do enjoy it. While I do rely more on voice to text compared to actually using the keyboard it's a small price to pay and the voice to text works perfectly. The battery life has held up really well so far, and the build quality seems fantastic as well. I have one minor downside with the cameras automatic white balance not being too great, but I really don't use the camera all that much so it's not that big of a deal for me. I would recommend this phone to just about anyone who is trying to cut down on their screen time while still getting access to all the features you would expect from a smartphone. I have Verizon and had no problems carrying my phone over, all I had to do was insert the SIM card. While the phone does not have 5G that doesn't bother me at all, and while some people have brought up some security concerns I don't feel that is really an issue. Don't miss out on this phone!

Tiny text but great phone.
I have had my jelly Star phone for about a week now. I purchased this phone in order to assist me in using social media less. I enjoy listening to music and the speaker is pretty good given the size of the phone. I can't speak for others but my battery usage on the jelly star has been about 50% with average usage during a particular day. The camera is pretty good for what it is and the screen is readable. My problem is my big fat fingers. I find that I am able to better use the keyboard with a stylus. But I don't do that much typing as it's simpler to just speak it and have the screen type it. I was able to use Google maps with no problem and the jelly star connected easily with my Chrysler Pacifica dashboard display once I downloaded the app. If you are trying to reduce your screen time but still have the capability of a cell phone running Android 13 this would be a good choice.

Doesn't work with US carriers
Doesn't work with Verizon in the US. No one at the store or online help has ever heard of this, and they won't activate it. Tried putting in a SIM card and it would sometimes make calls, but wouldn't send texts or access voicemail.

Very happy with my tiny phone
This puppy is a fully featured android 13 phone and it is running just as smoothly as the one it replaced. There is no slowing down here. Every program from my old phone is running quite normally here. The screen is much more colorful and detailed than expected. Sound quality is loud and clear. Yeah, the battery is small. But, I have not found that to be an issue, especially when this phone charges back up super fast. My only problem has been the fingerprint reader. It only works if I very quickly and firmly press my finger down. I don't know if it is the phone trying too fast to read my print or my finger tips constantly getting screwed up at work. The face unlock works just fine. I love not having to carry around a giant brick phone anymore. Instead, this little phone either slides easily into my pants pocket or inside a flip phone belt holster. I'm happy.

updated: feedback from a smart-phone-hater
I got rid of my flip-phone about a year ago, as I needed mobile internet. I had a very nice, very large phone and it forced me into a fanny pack. I bought one of these teeny phones for better pocketability. It's working out well. It fits into a 100's-length cigarette case, and is indestructible that way. The battery gets charged every 2 or 3 days of standby. If you use it, you need to charge it that night. Charge time is quick. Yes, the keyboard is tiny. I use one of those rubber-ended styluses when texting. This is a great phone for the minimalist user. I hot-swapped my Mint SIM card into it and it took-right-off. Volume, speaker and camera are all good. For thermographers ... a FLIR One Pro does not work on this phone. The phone comes with a clear, rubbery outer skin. That skin has an eyelet for wearing the phone as a pendant. I wouldn't trust that if I were you. If you are "on the fence" about buying one of these ... don't be scared. This will stop you from being the dude who sits in the neighboring bathroom stall, clicking on Tic-Toc videos. Gosh, I can't stand him. updated: Dunno why, but I tried my FLIR One Pro again and now it works! Updated 06/26: I'm still happy with the teeny size of this phone. I see its cost has nearly tripled. The battery is stuck in the phone for keepsies. The battery will sometimes suck-itself empty in 4 hours of standby, just sitting on my kitchen counter. The folks at Unihertz were extremely unhelpful about it. I just live with the fact that "maybe it works and maybe it doesn't."

It is _actually_ good
I was daily driving an iPhone mini. I don't have a preference, I more try to switch ecosystems every once in a phone and of late I was going with whatever was smaller. I then decided to try a big ol' Zfold 5 and while it is nice to use - I do a lot of hiking and not only is it just too big but it has a god-awful GPS sensor (I Gaia new routes, or... did on the iPhone). Enough backstory, here's the recipe. The phone does not feel sluggish in navigation and operations. It does some things notably better than the zfold, face unlock for one... I wear glasses (progressives) for the trombone zone and I am able to use the phone pretty easily, but not without the glasses. I am still in the honeymoon but nothing I have done with it has made it heat up. I wouldn't call my use heavy, but even with the added new-toy attention the battery still performs in-line with YT reviews that tend to echo it has "all day" battery. I normally do not run cases on my phones but the one it comes with works really well and also somewhat enhances the more fun than useful, but not useless lights. It has a little bit of weight to it for how small it is but I really like the form factor. Ergos at this size are only ever going to be so good but the chonkier profile and the weight I think make it a little less flaky in your hand. I am able to swipe without a whole lot of extra care over a "normal" sized kb. If you want a tiny android phone then you are probably already ok with the things it isn't. What I can say is if you are in the market this unit does seem to me to deliver on it's promises for a casual user who really likes small units. 99% of my use is telegram and yukon gold solitaire so keep that in mind.

Best phone if you want to stop using your phone! (in a good way)
I love this phone, performs better than you expect. Texting sucks but I use voice to text, you almost have to. Best phone if you want to stop using your phone!

Great if you're looking to curb your screen time
I bought this device with the intention of using it as little as possible. I wanted to curb my screen time and scroll less, so for that purpose alone this phone has been wonderful. The texting takes some getting used to, and there are certain aspects of navigating with the phone that can be frustrating given the small screen size, but in the end, that's why I bought it. The battery life isn't great, but with light use (texting and calling, playing music) it lasts the whole day. The biggest drawback of this phone for me personally is the photo quality. It's not awful, but it's not great either (see photo samples in attached photos). I find the camera itself takes a long time to focus, which makes taking candid photos difficult. I absolutely would not recommend this device to someone who is looking for a regular phone experience (actively using apps, streaming video, navigating websites, taking photos) but if you're looking for a phone that can do it all without demanding your attention, then definitely consider the Jelly Star.

Awesome device for those wanting something small.
An absolute BEAST for its size. I even got Eden, a Switch emulator running on it and playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on it. Check out Reddit and you can root this device too for even more features. The fact this supports an Micro SD Card (or 2nd SIM - the slot is one or the other) and a headphone jack makes this an awesome device for media. Has an IR Blaster too - so it's also my universal remote for all of my IR Remote devices. Never without the clicker now.

I really wanted to love this!
For the most part, I really liked it. It performs very well and the battery isn't bad because you hardly use it. The cameras were average but still took nice pictures. The problem was the really small screen, I thought it would have been fine but it's very very small. My eyes were having a hard time and I don't wear glasses. It would have been perfect if it was a 4 inch screen. If unihertz makes one with a slightly bigger screen I'd use it as my daily driver.
