I can mix teabags and loose leaf tea with it, too- just rip open the bags and dump them in. Decant it into a teapot after you finish steeping, and put the teapot on a warmer- then enjoy!It’s really easy to clean, just tap it out and give it a quick rinse. The plunger cleans up pretty easily once it dries a bit.

I tend to drink tea more then coffee and this French press is perfect for me! Great price and the size is double what the local store has for half the cost! It it smooth and easy to work. Cleans nicely and works very well. 10/10 would recommend!

You can heat water for tea by just using the carafe in the microwave A+

I’m Giving this 4 stars because the over all function was very easy and great. It wasn’t too heavy. It was very easy to clean. The filter fit perfect. At the time felt it was a great value for my money. But my only complaint was house thin the glass is. Put it in the sink to wash it and my spoon barely touched the glass and it shattered.

This is my second french press now. The first one i broke the glass accidentally. It worked okay. Looking for something half decent and fairly inexpensive. So in a hurry i purchased yet another one. The second one currently is not good at all! It has plastic at the bottom of the strainer. Which is not ideal to put boiling water and let perculate soaking up all the chemically plastic goodness. More importantly after only a month use the glass pitcher starting leaking. I dont know how its possible but the bottom of the glass has a hole in it! So it leaks all over my counter. I will need to be upgrading to a more suitable one. I do not recommend this unit to be used. If it came with a stainless bottom at the very least then maybe worth the entry level and cheap coffee press.

Love this French press love that is glass for easy cleaning, and that you can also make milk froth, I purchased it for my husband he is the only one that drinks coffee, and we don’t own a coffee maker to safe counter space, so this French coffee press is perfect for us.

These were shipped with plungers that are not meant to be dis-assembled or cleaned. The threads are there on the stem, but the plastic is only snap-on, not threaded. You can't get all the debris out of the filter, no matter what you do or whether it was tea or coffee in the filter. You cannot even separate the stainless filter screening from the plastic part, so you cannot completely clean this attempt at a French press.If you need the glass carafe, so be it, it seems okay. Otherwise, stay away from this product and the manufacturer.EDIT: Upon magnified inspection, there were indeed threads inside that one plastic part that seem to have simply cross-threaded and sheared down to the surface. It was meant to be dis-and-re-assembled, but the loss of threads have sunk that idea. Metal against plastic often works out like that. I can fix it, though, with a stainless nipple (for the plunger end) and a stainless keyed machine screw (filter side).

Amazing French press! Don’t buy into the Nespresso pod hype anymore. It costs $4 for multiple pots using store-bought generic coffee grounds at the store for two weeks versus $10 for one week of pods. It is my first time purchasing a French press, and I think this is an adorable purchase. I get to control the amount of coffee I put in brew-bust coffee and enjoy the taste. I can also blend in my Teaccino coffee alternative with my ground to reduce caffeine intake.

I bought this for my son and he really likes it. It took him a few times to make his coffee to his taste but he really likes it.Good price and sturdy.

Can’t say too much really on this, it’s basically a coffee cafetière as you place coffee granuals inside add water and simply push down the plunger which keeps the granuals or big ground beans out of the coffee? This can also be used for tea infusions etc, to keep tea leaves out of your cup of tea too?

Das Design ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber erleichtert nicht zu pitschern, beim Kaffee einschenken. Hat auch eine gute größe für 2 Tassen.
