I bought 3 of these (one for my kitchen, and one for each bathroom). They are all awesome! Really nice quality, which I would expect for this price. But totally worth it. It's hard to find foam soap dispensers that look classy (most are plastic and super 'modern/space agey' looking). These go perfect with our house decor and are very good quality. I think they will last a long time! Worth the price. UPDATE: I have since ordered a 4th soap dispenser and it arrived scratched/damaged in 3 places. It appears to have been used, but for the cost of this item, I should be receiving a brand new soap dispenser. Also, it was advertised as 'new' not as 'previously used.' I have reached out to the seller asking if they will send me a new metal piece, because the glass part seems to be in good condition. I will update my review if I hear from the seller. And for this price, I'm disappointed I even received a damaged item in the first place. Better quality control is needed.

As I came to the end of my last large plastic refill bottle of hand soap, I knew I wanted to see if I could go plastic-free with hand soap. It's been a journey, as I attempted to make liquid soap from my bar soap scraps. (For those of you who have done this successfully, I applaud you. I ended up with a nice mess and soap that didn't really work.) So my next step was to explore soap tablets (ie, Soap Sense), and it became clear that my only option was to go the foaming soap route. I wanted a glass (not plastic) dispenser, and came across this lovely ribbed foaming soap dispenser by Rail 19. I hesitated to spend $30, but decided to give it a try. When it arrived, I was blown away by the quality. The glass is lovely and super heavy, I got the ribbed design, which has a great vintage feel to it. This thing does not look or feel cheap at all. It's awesome that you can choose your spout to match the hardware in your bathroom or kitchen. I immediately loaded it up with a Soap Sense foaming soap tablet, and it has been working perfectly. BIG SHOUT OUT to the company for the packaging for this item, which was virtually plastic-free. It was safely wrapped in packing paper that I can recycle, in a cardboard box sealed with paper tape.

It arrived in 5 days from America so, fantastically quick delivery. The soap container is a nice weight of glass but, I’m not sure if the pump is metal or plastic. I have put some clear plastic dots on the bottom of the dispenser to stop it sliding about. I’ve filled it up with 1/4 Carex to 3/4 water and the colour looks nice in our shower room. To dispense the foam, there needs to be about a 1cm gap from the top of the container for air. Fingers crossed it will stay looking good and working well as I felt it was quite pricy for what it is but, if it stays looking good, I may well purchase another for the bathroom.

I bought this Foaming Soap Dispenser for use in my newly renovated intentionally retro bathroom. I waited for several weeks before writing this review and rating the item because I wanted to see how I liked it and how it held up. I'm happy to say that this was a very good purchase - the dispenser looks great, works well, and has been holding up perfectly under use multiple times daily. Even though this item is a bit pricey, I think it was well worth the investment because it seems to be well-made and designed well. No issues with function when used exclusively with foaming soap refills.
