I had to replace a battery due to battery swelling in the original Dell one. OEM batteries are expensive so I bought this instead.It may be too early to tell, but so far I've not had any issues with this battery. It gives the laptop a charge comparable to the original at a much lower cost. I have had bad experiences with third party batteries in the past so I will keep an eye open, but so far this works as intended.Since the only real metric for a battery's performance is charge and longevity, since the charge works and I cannot yet rate the longevity I give this 5 stars by default.

I bought this aftermarket Battery for my Dell L attitude laptop as the one in my laptop had failed. When i installed the battery i found that it did not charge due to this being a non genuine battery that the battery could not recognize. I found that it shipped with 1/2 charge on it which did power up the laptop, but due to being unable to charge, i returned the battery for a refund.

Had the infamous battery swelling issue with the OEM. Needed a quick replacement and this one fit the bill. Installed just as the OEM one and with a few months of use so far, seem to do just as well as the OEM battery in terms of performance and hopefully without the swelling issue of the OEM. So far, smooth going.

The battery was not hard to install. The Dell latitude e5450 has a cover that needed to be removed first and then disconnect the old battery and install the new one. I think anyone could do it if you know how to use a screwdriver. I would buy this again.

I've been using the battery for about 2 months now. It's working well.

I bought this in Feb. as a spare. The battery looks fine, is a good mechinical fit but it does not report itself to the bios as a genuine Dell battery and so will not charge.

Took 5 minutes to put in, came partially charged. Fast shipping, would buy again.

I was a bit dubious about buying this but I thought I'd take a punt. It was cheaper than most others online, not quite the cheapest but delivery leadtime was great (next day). I'd never installed a new battery before but I'm quite practical so thought I'd save myself the expense and hassle of going to a repair shop. At first I couldn't remove the laptop back panel but did a bit of research on youtube and solved that easily. Battery was easy to fit - so easy I doubted it could be that simple and maybe I hadn't installed correctly. I was very happy when I found I had, in fact, done it right. I ran a diagnostic tool on the HP site (my laptop is an HP, you'll need to check out your manufacturer) and it told me I needed to calibrate. I tried this several times and can't get it to finalise. Either it's not calibrated and, in time, I'll need another battery OR it's HPs way of trying to stop ppl buying nonHP branded parts. (I tried to purchase battery direct from HP but they no longer sell it - so I had little choice but to go 'off-piste')Either way, it works perfectly for now and I'm totally happy at having saved myself money - and very proud of fixing the issue myself.
