Holy Grail of All-in-one Radio
The Bose Sound Mini Link is the gold standard for compact Bluetooth speakers. The big con on the Bose Sound Mini Link there is no FM Tuner, USB SD Memory Slot, and Micro SD Card Slot. The Bose bass response blows away all the compact speakers Iโve own, Antimi, Retekess V115, and Raddy RF320. The Antimi was my favorite because it is an โAll-in-oneโ radio. The Antimi sound was okay but lack adequate bass response. The Raddy RF320 has decent bass response but it has only one passive radiator speaker. There is no stereo music coming from the single passive radiator speaker. The Raddy RF320 is not a portable. I am retired and have a lot of time to research for a compact radio that is โAll-in-oneโ with stereo speakers and good bass response. I order the Avantree Boombyte on Amazon. Holy Moly! I found the holy grail of โAll-in-oneโ compact portable STEREO radio. The radio is made with high quality material. The radio feels premium. There are two passive radiator speakers for STEREO listening. The unit can play 17 hours with a full charge. The FM tuner reception is good and strong. The big pro is the bass response and the power output from the amplifier. I am blown away with the bass on the Avantree Boombyte. The price is justify for the quality and feature of the STEREO radio. This is an โAll-in-one radioโ with STEREO and good bass response in a compact design. You will not be disappointed. Happy listening.

A Very Nice Little Player!
A Very Nice Little Player Overall! Small and simple and as such not the best sound quality or powerful volume but adequate on both counts. No external antenna to fuss with or break off and so had trouble tuning distant stations but has great reception for anything within 50 miles. I bought this for a friend as an alternative to a "sleep sounds" generator figuring she could pick the type of sounds she like best and load them onto a micro SD card on her laptop then play them on this. It's the only micro SD Player with stereo speakers I could find and it's perfect; plug in the card, turn it on and it plays! She did 8 hour MP3 files and this thing plays happily all night long on a single charge. Takes up to 32Mb micro SD cards. I brought myself one after seeing hers and recorded some long jazz files for background music in my office. Turn it on, it plays, turn it off and it stops; no technical effort required. Also connects to Bluetooth (which I haven't tried) and has a decent FM tuner with the nice feature of "direct entry" for stations from the keypad. To tune 104.5 you simply key in 1045 and you're there; you can also tune up or down continuously or "seek" stations sequentially. Has headphone output with better sound through good headphones. I wish BoomByte made a larger version of this with bigger speakers and a more powerful amp but the same features otherwise. I would definitely buy that! Until then "The Brick" will work nicely! Good value for the money. Easy controls, good FM tuning, rechargeable battery, 32Mb micro SD playback.

Killer MicroSD Portable Stereo!
Of the many small portable mono and stereo radios I've owned since the 60's this BoomByte has the best sound quality, battery life and function. I'm a simi audiophile who enjoys music almost anywhere, especially outdoors. My last small portable was a Melson S8 which had nice mono sound but finally died as the push buttons slowly became erratic. It's final demise was when it's old mini usb power connector broke off inside. I have others but their sound quality just doesn't cut it. The reviews on this Avantree Boombyte intrigued me enough to buy and I'm not disappointed at all. For it's small handheld size it packs some quality stereo sound. It's not a funky loud boombox. It's a nice little handheld personal Stereo with just the right amount of mp3 information displayed on its small screen. I couldn't find a user photo of the screen displaying the MicroSD MP3 info so I've included one here. Another must have for me is a good Random/Shuffle function. I only wish there was a dedicated button for it instead of having to open the menu and change selections with multiple choices. I arrange my favorite MP3's in alphabetic order by Artist name hyphen Song. When on my usual Random play and wish to hear another song from the same Artist I typically take it out of random then go back or forward to the Artist's song I wish to hear. A separate normal/random or programmable button would be fantastic. Frankly I would trade the FM button for it any day. Just have FM cycle through the "Mode" button. ex BT/FM/MP3 and make the dedicated FM button MP3 Random on/off! Photo from top to bottom: MicroSD symbol - Current song number with Total songs below - Random play Folder - ROOT or other if split into folders. Music Note Symbol - Scrolling file name left to right Play/Pause Symbol - Current track time hyphen / Total track time One final mention. If your songs, like mine, are generally at different volume levels causing a constant volume adjustment change between songs use a tool (program) such as freeware "MP3Gain" to equalize all of your music prior to copying to the microSD card. Speaking of, I'm using a Samsung 64GB exFAT card but have not tried over 32 GB of songs as I don't have that much in MP3. I also don't relish the though of re-ripping all of my CD's. One last mention. The built-in lithium battery is amazing! 2-3 days for my playing needs. FWIW it does charge at 3.1A on my multi USB charger (usb3 to usb3) which displays current draw. I'm using a certified 1.5' USB 3.2 cable if that matters. All in I'm thrilled with this little audio MP3 player. BT and FM which I rarely use work great also. The FM, with no external antenna autotunes fantastic in our rural location. It's a little more expensive than some others but IMHO worth the difference in quality.

Surprisingly Powerful, but Not Perfect
Iโve been using the Avantree Boombyte for a while now, and overall, itโs been a really solid little deviceโespecially for something so compact and multi-functional. Right out of the box, what stood out to me was how many features it packs into one unit. I can switch between FM radio, Bluetooth streaming, USB, and even a microSD card without any hassle. It genuinely feels like a โgrab-and-goโ all-in-one speaker, which makes it super convenient for everyday use and even outdoor trips. The sound quality honestly surprised me. For a portable speaker, it delivers clear audio with decent stereo separation thanks to its dual drivers. Music sounds crisp, and voices on the radio come through cleanly. That said, I wouldnโt call it a bass-heavy speakerโitโs more balanced than punchy. Battery life has been one of my favorite things about it. Iโve easily gotten through long days without needing to recharge, which makes it perfect for camping or just having it around the house all day. Using it is pretty straightforward too. The controls are simple, and I didnโt have to spend much time figuring anything out. Itโs definitely designed with ease of use in mind. That said, itโs not without its downsides. The FM reception can be hit or miss depending on where I am, and I noticed it struggles a bit in weaker signal areas. Also, while it gets reasonably loud, itโs not powerful enough to fill a big outdoor space or a party. Final Thoughts.... For me, the Avantree Boombyte hits a sweet spot between portability, versatility, and battery life. Itโs not a powerhouse speaker, but for personal use, travel, or casual listening, it does a great job. If youโre looking for an all-in-one device that covers radio and modern playback options, itโs definitely worth considering.

Quality Throughout and Random/Shuffle mp3!
I write very few reviews. It's got to be something that really impresses me one way or another. I was unfamiliar with Avantree, but they offer random/shuffle mp3 play on their products, which was essential for me. I assumed they were just another anonymous Chinese brand focused on price point. And really, this thing didn't have to be great for what I paid for it. I was wrong. It's a sweet little player with some real thought and design in it. First off, it's a lot of watts for its size, and you can definitely hear them. They engineered the speakers and vent ports perfectly. Setting it 6-8" in front of a wall will throw impressive, true bass to a full room. It's acoustically amazing for its petite size. There are a few fixed equalizer settings and a utilitarian looking, yet fully featured LCD screen. Easy to wake it and see what you're listening to, be it mp3, radio, or bluetooth. The rotary power/volume control is sublime, saving the fuss with finding a rubber button. The rest of the buttons are convenient for choosing source, mp3 tracks, radio frequencies, and settings, but reading the short, well written manual one time is a must to make sense of it. Radio reception is incredible out of the box, but I'm urban. A usb charging cable can be used as a long distance antenna if needed. Battery performance is very good so far. The case is attractive and reasonably stout. But it's painted and corners will surely wear over time. I once chatted with their pleasant customer service team and can attest to their prompt support. Overall, I'm blown away with this little gem. Enough so that I bought its big brother, the Powerbyte, shortly after, which is also in a class of its own. 5 stars absolutely for this one.

This versatility makes it a great all-rounder for various audio needs. Sound Quality: One of the highlights of the Boombyte is its sound performance. Equipped with dual 7-watt drivers, it offers remarkable volume and stereo sound quality. The speaker separation provides an immersive listening experience, which is impressive for its size. FM Reception: The FM reception of the Boombyte is notably clear. It allows for uninterrupted listening of FM radio stations with crystal-clear sound quality, enhancing the overall radio experience. Its built-in lithium rechargeable 4000mAh battery and Type C charging port add to the convenience. Connectivity and Compatibility: The speaker's Bluetooth connectivity is robust, with a decent operating range of 30ft/10m. It supports various profiles (HFP, A2DP, AVRCP) and music file formats (MP3, WMA, WAV), enhancing its compatibility with numerous devices. Design and Build: The Boombyte is well-designed, featuring a sleek, modern look with dimensions of approximately 7.48" x 1.89" x 1.89". The LCD display adds a functional touch, making it easy to navigate through different functions. Conclusion: The Avantree Boombyte is a well-rounded portable speaker that offers a blend of sound quality, functionality, and portability. Impressive sound and great FM reception, but a few user interface quirks that are annoying
I'm pretty pleased with this radio. The FM reception is excellent despite it not having an external antenna. The sound quality out of such a small radio is quite impressive -- lots of bass, but not at the expense of decently clear mid and upper ranges. It's easy to set up, and the 9 storable station presets are handy to have. I like that you can directly enter a station by entering the frequency without having to use the seek button. I've not used it as a speaker with an SD card so I can't speak to how well that works, but as a portable radio it has been performing very well. There are a few irritations, however. The on/off button also is the volume control, which is not convenient. I would have much preferred a separate on/off switch. The on/off/volume knob doesn't have a good feel to it. Having clicks or indents would have been nice. While setting up the station presets is simple, using them can be a bit annoying. If the screen is off, the first press of the preset button wakes up the screen. You then have to press the preset button again to change the station. There's also a delay of a couple of seconds from the time you press the preset and when the station changes. It does this since the keypad is also used to direct enter a frequency, so the radio has to pause to determine if you want a preset or if you're entering a frequency. But all of these issues are secondary to the fact that it pulls in stations great, sounds fantastic, and has great battery life. I'm happy with the purchase -- 4.5 stars

Enjoy YOUR music!
First off, let me gush โ being older, Iโve seen the progress of small audio products over the years, from transistor radios in the 60โs to the Walkman revolution in the 80โs and I gotta say - we are living in a particularly wonderful time for โsmall audioโ products. I love my Boombyte! Iโve been looking for a compact USB stick/SD card MP3 player with speakers and WITH A SHUFFLE OPTION. Thereโs tons of small Bluetooth speakers out there that accommodate USB sticks and SD cards, but finding one with shuffle has been like the search for the Holy Grail. Iโve been fond of the Antimi Bluetooth speaker which accepts USB sticks and SD cards, has a quaint small radio sound (almost zero bass) and is extremely affordable, but has no shuffle capability. Enter the Boombyte โ First, for a tiny unit, it has a robust 14 watt (7 watts per side) stereo array, that blows away the Antimi. Sure, it doesnโt have ground shaking bass, but it definitely has a pleasing amount of lower end oomph. The mids and highs are clean. If you play a well mixed tune on this thing, it can sound very detailed, even at low volumes. And itโs got shuffle!! I also found that depending on your file structure, you can โdial inโ a specific tune using the numeric keypad. For me, the icing on the cake is the backlit LCD display โ shows the track number and scrolls through the the artist/song name information, along with other helpful information, like volume and battery levels. The Boombyte will play MP3, WAV and WMA files and will accept USB sticks and SD cards up to 32 Gb, so depending on your resources, you could have hundreds and hundreds of your favorite tunes loaded up and ready to enjoy, like your own personal radio station. :) p.s. Thanks to Amazon reviewer Paul S. for providing the review and screen image โ that information really helped!

Potentes altavoces
Mejor bajarlo a 28.

Top quality FM radio & Bluetooth Speaker
Perfect radio to use at work as it has a separate large volume knob which makes it very easy and quick to change the volume when required without changing to the next track/file as always happens with other speakers that have combined volume & next/prev track buttons. Handy that you can easily change between radio and bluetooth playback by pressing a button. It always remembers the bluetooth connection and reconnects quickly every time. Perfect for use with iPad and it plays music, podcasts, youtube, etc and you can use the next/prev track buttons to move to the next song/podcast/video etc seamlessly - unless iPad has closed the app you were playing you just turn the radio back on and press Play and it continues from where it was up to. Analog FM radio with electronic tuning and favourite stations, so easy to flip between your fave stations and you never have tuning problems like you do with dial tuning. Doesn't have an antenna but the USB cable (USB C connector) you connect is the antenna if you have poor radio reception. Battery lasts for longer than they indicate, and charges via any USB A-USB C cable whether plugged into a wall outlet or a computer or other device.

Great product for audio books
Great value for money. Looks study and the quality of the sound vs the version before (which only had a single speaker) is noticeably better. It does then in turn weight a little more but still easy enough for travel and although I haven't looked at it vs the original for battery I am sure it is good too!
