I use a generic pleather holster. Works fine

The magnetic ring is embedded in the case. The inside of the case is completely smooth and will not scratch your phone.

Q: Does the kickstand affect the quality of the photograph? Protrudes even further past it and wondering if it interferes with the lenses at all.

No, it’s recessed into the case enough to not be visible by the wide angle lens.
