Excellent low cost way to add cover from the elements.
These awnings are fantastic. Very strong and stable i put them up just about a month ago, and in that time they've survived rain, high winds, hail, and a freak snow storm that dropped several feet! The awnings handled it all with ease and never budged. Installation was a little tricky. Partially because of the house, and partly because these are a bit awkward to handle due to their size. A second person is highly advised. Also, mark and predrill each set of holes for each panel. There seems to be about 0.25 inch of variation in the bracket to bracket spacing. The panels look wonderful once installed. I've had two neighbors, whom I had not met previously, come by to ask where I bought them. I did not use the provided hardware to attach the brackets to the house. Instead, I purchased 3" stainless lag bolts and galvanized washers from the hardware store. I predrilled the holes as mentioned, and sqeezed some outdoor caulking into the holes before using an impact driver to secure the bolts. Be careful with the small screws that hold the frame together. They don't give you extra, so be sure not to drop one in the lawn. Also, I was using a powered driver for the screws as well and sheered of one of the heads. So, use caution and finesse. I hope you have as much luck with these as I did! I only wish I had installed them sooner.

Looks nice
These really made a difference. Anytime it would rain our floors would get wet or we had to shut the doors. Now we can leave them open during a rainstorm. They are clear so it doesn't block out the sunlight. They made it through the winter with snow on them, so they seem pretty sturdy. Assembly wasn't very difficult, but you may need 2 people to put them up.

but after assembly it anchored together nicely. Make sure you fasten your screws tightly on ...
This awning is decent for the price. I mounted it on outside stucco wall to cover pool filter and pump equip. area. When I first opened the package it seemed a bit flimsy and cheap, but after assembly it anchored together nicely. Make sure you fasten your screws tightly on each corner of the awning assembly itself, this will ensure strength before mounting it up. As for the hardware to fasten to your house or structure, it doesnt come with anchors to mount into stucco - just masonry so I had to go to hardware store to get correct anchors and bolts. I do like the curved design of the awning, as this allows the extra height under it so that I can work on pool filter. I would suggest using a second person to hold awning in place while marking/mounting holes for your anchors. It would be a bit cumbersome to try to do with only one person. Very sleek different design, makes this awning serve a great purpose while also looking good.

5 stars so far!
As many of the reviews indicate, it can be a bit frustrating trying to marry up half a dozen or so parts that can go in ONE way, but not very intuitive how to. . . . Anyway, once you get past that, it appears to be a wonderful product. It's lightweight, yet sturdy. I hung them each outside of my patio door. This is the patio that was sold by Sears in the 1950's and is a combination of foam and very thin sheet metal. This is perfect to hang above the doors to keep the rain away from the entry way, and also from coming in when the door is open! Will see how it holds up to winds. As mentioned, the included screws may not work for you. I bought 5/16 three inch screws with washers and nuts for my application.

Not durable.
Not durable and does not withstand snow and wind as described. Brackets are plastic and broke under snow load.

Working quite well through storms
The assembly was quite a challenge. Keeping the two plexiglass halves together in the center frame will require a skinny strip of duct tape across the top of the back to keep those pieces together until you get it mounted to the wall. Nobody wants to discover that when they get it into place that the two have separate at the back, especially if you are installing this as a one person show. When installing against cement fiber siding, it is recommended to use a small pilot bit just large enough for the lag screw. Do not run the bit all the way into the OSB subsheathing of the house, as the leg screw needs something to bite into. The expanding anchor should only be used for concrete or when there is a completely solid backing beneath the sub sheathing. Before installing, use a good quality GE silicone caulking to caulk every seam with a plexiglass meets the frames. I added beads of silicone caulking to the bottoms after it was installed but it's much easier to do it before you install the whole unit and let it dry as it will provide adhesion to where the tape might not be necessary. Once it was installed, I apply caulking to the top and sides of each plastic bracket end where it meets the wall. I have had this in place for close to 3 months now and it is been through unbelievable downpours and storms. It is keeping my door jambs dry as well as the welcome mat. There are those storms of course that come in on an angle but still, it keeps the top to the center of the door completely dry even with those. I feel like paid a little bit more than I should have because there is another seller that is providing the same identical product for $30 less! Keep your eye out for that one as they are both the same product. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and wish I had done it much sooner.

Great little awning
I got this to go over the chicken door on my coop. Itโs a great size for them to have a little shelter, and to keep the rain and snow off the door when open. I barely know how to use a drill but installed this myself pretty easily. I just used 4 little wood screws and washers (the holes are big), not the hardware they included. Itโs tricky to drill that first screw if by yourself. Find another set of hands. It seems solid and perfect for what I needed it for. A few chickens have even perched on it. Love that the corrugated plastic is only one sheet instead of two separate ones like others on here. Oh I couldnโt figure out where the little metal bracket went or what it was for so skipped it.

Aunque me lo vendieron como doble, la verdad es que vienen dos individuales, para armarlo doble debe aplicarse el ingenio del instalador porque es difรญcil empalmarlos para integrar los dos en uno solo

*****Update****** Good customer service and smooth return. Might give it another shot soon. Not many awnings have weight rating specified under product info. we r in snow country and 30+lb/m2 is a must. *****Original Review**** Both roof panels are damaged with big dents. Products are poorly packaged and there are no instructions in the box. The contractor is scheduled to come in tomorrow. Now I need to find a last minute replacement, sigh... Very inconvenient. Very disappointed. Will update return & refund experience soon.

Was a bit worried that the ABS would not stand up but this product worked well here in Ontario, Canada this winter. It will hold a foot of snow. Easy to remove the snow thought as it slides off without any problem. Hardware better than I thought. Can be a bit of a pain to install but well worth it. A bit pricy though.
