4 computer & 4 device+sound powered USB switch
Edit/Addition:The more I use this device, the more I like it. While this device lacks the video switching of a true KVM (my solution to that is a separate HDMI switch for sharing the video), this hub does appear to handle all my USB switching needs. And to get around the limit of 4 "device" ports, I was able to put a 7 port USB hub (with individual port on/off switches) on one of the device ports of this hub/switch. By using the hubs this way I now have 10 device ports vs the 4 that came with the hub. This is more than enough device ports to make a very useful "docking station" for 4 different "computers" in my home office.FWIW: I am currently using 3 of the "computer" slots on this hub (to a Chromebook, an XBox, and a USB docking cable for my cell phones) and plan to hook up the 4th computer slot to the Raspberry Pi I am in the process of building/configuring. As to devices this hub switches, I currently have hooked up: a keyboard, a mouse, the 7 port hub, a headset, a webcam, a game controller, a USB flash drive, and a USB printer. With all these devices hooked up to any "computer" on this hub, I see this hub as a very useful "docking station" for my devices (with additional free USB ports available for future expansion).-------------------------------------------------------------I got this because I'm about to add a 3rd "computer" to my home office (I've got a raspberry pi on order), and therefore my 2 computer USB switch will no longer do the job. I like this model, because it is rated for USB 3 speeds (whereas a lot of these USB switches are slower USB 2 only), is powered (i.e. has an option to add additional power to the USB hub), and lets you switch 4 USB devices among up to 4 "computers" (whereas a lot of these USB switches only allow for 2 computers). And as an added bonus, any of those "computers" will see an extra USB sound device, that you can send the sound to (i.e. this "hub" even has a built in USB "sound card").I just got this hub today and hooked it up a USB keyboard, a mouse, a web cam, and a USB headset on the device side of this hub. I then had the "computer" side hooked up to my chromebook and my XBox. When I tested on the chromebook (with the hub switched to the chromebook) all 4 devices were seen and function (and I even got a new sound output device on the chromebook, which correctly sent the sound to this hub's sound support). And when I tested it on the XBox, both the keyboard and mouse were seen and functioning (I didn't expect the sound devices to work on the XBox, because the XBox doesn't have drivers for USB sound). So all the tests I could do with my currently equipment were fully functional!Since I have no reason to believe the other two "computer" connections on this hub won't work (it is after all rated for up to 4 computers), I plan to hook this hub up to the raspberry pi I'm getting soon (so the pi will be the 3rd "computer" on this hub). By using the switch this way, I can avoid having redundant USB devices use up the limited space in my home office while still having access to these devices when needed.NOTE: I did run a brief test of plugging a 2nd (unpowered) hub into the device side of this hub, and it seemed to work. Specifically my chromebook still saw and used all 4 of my devices, even though they were now plugged in via a 2nd hub. So it looks like I'll be able to use that option (of daisy chaining USB hubs), should (in the future) I get more USB devices I wish to share between my various "computers".

Quick switching and solid quality
This switcher is solidly built and comes with four USB cables. Switching is quick and flawless and switching between my two computers and PS5 works with no issues. I’m only using it for a keyboard and mouse and have it unpowered. If you connect more power hungry USB devices you can connect power via USB-C for more reliability. The only thing I wish was that all the inputs were on the back for a cleaner setup.

Better than devices with mechanical switches
Works well, solid metal enclosure, comes with necessary USB cables, but not one for the USB C power input (which is optional, but necessary for any power hungry devices such as an audio interface). The built in audio output/USB audio is a nice bonus - quite a stiff socket, so I recommend to use a socket extension rather than plugging in/out of that socket. The buttons are logical switches rather than mechanical USB selector toggles, which should be more durable that a previous switcher I used which became unreliable.

Good usb switch but has some issues
This is a good switch for my needs, however I am having this problem where it will suddenly loose power and connection for 5-6 seconds or more when I am working. Also when I switch to one of my computers it says the device is not recognized and I have to switch back and forth to solve the problem and get it to work. Overall I really like the design of this switch and the fact that it has a 3.0 headphone jack for switching. I may try returning it for a replacement and see if that solves the problem and will update the review

Nice Metal USB 3.0 Switch For 4 Computers
The ekL USB 3.0 Switch 4 Computers seems to be a well made, metal USB switch that will allow you to use items such as keyboards, mice, wireless devices on 4 different computers with the press of a button. The controls are four well marked buttons on top of the box arranged in a triangle pattern and four red lights to indicate the device it is working with arranged in a horizontal row below the buttons. I have another KVM switch I use but the USB function was not reliable so I added this device. I kind of like this setup better because I can switch monitors and still change the keyboard and mouse to work on a different monitor without changing the monitor too. I have a three monitor setup and two computers. When I switch computers only one of the monitors works with the second computer. The other two monitors are still running on the first computer so this switch lets me work with both computers simultaneously. I connected a third laptop to this device and it worked as expected. It comes with 4 USB cables and a USB-A to USB-C power cable but no power supply. Any USB power supply will work if you need it. Supposedly, you only need power if you run external hard drives or other power hungry devices. I connected a power supply just in case. There is no remote control on this switch but that is not a problem for me. I recommend.

Easily switch up to 4 USB devices between up to 4 computers
This lets me connect up to 4 PCs at one end, and up to 4 devices at the other end. The numbered switches easily switch which computer the devices plugged into are connected to. I have a computer and a server at my desk, and I love that I can switch my keyboard, mouse, USB drive, and headphones between the two without having to unplug things anymore. Right now, I just have 2 PCs hooked up to it so I love it has growing room for me.

Does the job, and well
Needed a USB switcher to complement a laptop dock, and it works great! My use case is that I have a USB Microphone, USB Webcam, and two Stream Decks that I want to have connected to my desktop PC when that is in use, or my Laptop when using my docking station instead of my desktop PC. This device works perfectly for this scenario.

Running 3 computers - Exellent
Great for KB and Mouse. Also you can put in a USB stick and transfer between computers - gets a bit complicated when you want to remove it :) Not so good with my printer but it is an old (12 years) Canon Laser and they don't support anything over 10 years old - actually scrub everything from their website!! So I don't have updated drivers except some I found via 3rd party. (buy a new printer? -Screw them!!) So my printer is plugged into the computer that I use for clerical and I can always print via a USB stick. Maybe someone else has more input on that. It is never quite simple sharing a printer anyway especially if you are not using WiFi.Updated July 2 - Printer is now working on the switch for both Win 10 AND Win 11. I guess I just had to let it settle in rather than try it when I was making so many other changes?

Great, comes with all the cables, works wonders
I did not expect it to work this well for the price, but it works really well. It comes with all the cables, and even a USB-C cable for power, but it doesn't really need it. I do suggest using another one simply because it's a bit short, but the cable is really good quality. The USB cables to connect to the device though are plenty long and are also great quality. The one issue I've noticed on occasion is that switching to another computer sometimes doesn't get recognized. It's rare, and can always be fixed by just going back and forth once, so I think that's more of a windows glitch.

works great
The media could not be loaded. My old usb switch started acting up on me and seller didn't reply back to my issues even though it was less than 1 year old. So i decided to try another one from a different seller and different brand. This ekl switch is much more responsive and better quality. Nice well built metal casing and easy to use buttons on the top. Very bright lights on top to see which device you are connected to. No remote but it is not needed anyway. I'm pretty sure this switch will last a long time. Product support is fantastic as well. Would purchase from this seller again.

Works as described
Switches 4 usb devices between 4 different computers. Works even if it's through hubs, docking stations, and other extensions. Sturdy metal case, comes with 4 usb cables and a power cord. Very happy.
