Small Breed Organic Turkey & Oats

My dogs do better with fiber in their diet. There are very few brands that use organic ingredients. This is especially important when consuming oats! Thank goodness for Tender and True! This is labeled for small dogs but I use it for my large/medium dogs. I let the kibble soak a bit before adding my topper for added moisture. They love it and are doing well on this food.

Only organic dry dog food I found. Other brand was discontinued. I mix with Farmer’s Dog food. Makes for better digestion for my dog. And he likes the taste especially when mixed with treats or Farmer’s Dog food.

Our little dogs like this kibble, and we are so glad, because every other kibble still on the market, does not have organic grains. Grainless kibble has replaced grain with peas and pea protein, and there's some research showing peas are correlated with some heart problems in dogs. The reason it is important to get organic grains (for our pets and for ourselves) is because it is a common practice to spray grain fields with glyphosate, and heavy duty weed killer, to kill and desiccate all the grain plants in the field so they're all ready to harvest at the same time. Pretty gross. Two years ago, there was another brand of small breed organic kibble on the market, but it went out of business. This brand only has this one recipe for small breeds, with organic grains. Like I said, so glad they like it!

Trying to upgrade our beloved dog's diet, so we switched to her to organic. Planning to start slow, because she's very picky and doesn't like new tastes. However, she loved this kibble from the first bite. We mix in a little of the canned and she licks her bowl clean. The only thing we don't like is the food additive "natural flavors," which just about everyone knows by now is MSG.
