I have very bad humidity weather around my apartment hopefully this fix it

We live in Colorado and have a basement and in the summertime. The basement smells damp if you don’t have a dehumidifier or something to capture the moisture in the air, our laundry room is at the far end of our basement and we have purchased these damp red hangers to put into the laundry room to help capture the humidity in the air. We like these so much that we are on our second group of purchase they do fill up with water what I like about them is that you can see how full the water bags are and when you need to replace them with the hook, they hang easily on a door handle or on a close rod and they’re out-of-the-way and they do exactly what they’re supposed to which is capture the humidity that’s in the air each bag during the summertime has lasted pretty much all summer obviously in Colorado. We don’t have the humidity in the winter time that we need to worry about replacing it as often.
