This is a great little candle holder for 4"x3/8" (or taller) candles! The aluminum is thin and light; the reservoir allows for candles to burn completely, rather than leaving a messy stub to clean out; and it's clearly aesthetically pleasing to look at. You should definitely use Stick-Um or a bit of melted wax to keep your candle solidly upright, though, because the reservoir allows for a wider candle. I've purchased this twice, and I'll probably buy it again.

Judging by the photos this product seems to be very cheap and not even worth the total price of $10 I paid for it. But this candle holder actually looks much better in person. The color of the metal is darker, more rustic looking, it's not so shiny and bright as in the photos, almost as if they took a picture of a different product. Almost. Overall the product has a nice weight to it, seems to be made of steel; decent heft. Again this is not apparent when judging by the photos. Best of all this product is actually functional, the depth of the socket goes all the way to the bottom plate, so it actually can hold a candle, unlike some other similar candle holders which I've recently purchased here through Amazon, where the socket only goes half way down. My only complaint with this item is that the socket may be too wide, it seems to be several mm wider than the standard candles which you can purchase here. So the candles I bought just flop around in the socket, but this problem is easily alleviated if you use another candle to heat the bottom of the plate and place another candle inside of the socket.

If you are looking for something that looks antique at a reasonable price than this is it!

I use it for what it was designed for. It's a very practical design and I very much enjoy using it. My only concern is whether or not there is enough solder/weld adhering the handle to the dish. It works really excellent, however there is a sense that is may have been originally designed as more a novelty than a tool. It sits next to my bed at night and I burn a candle in it until I'm ready to go to sleep. If I need to go to the bathroom, I'll take it with me and it hasn't failed me yet. Granted it's only been about a month and a half of every other daily use.

Absolutely beautiful holder. Sturdy, and totally gives you rustic feels, which is what I was looking for. CottageCore vibes! I’ll definitely be purchasing more.

My wife mentioned using these a lot in her Belgium boarding school as a child. She was thrilled to receive it as a gift. It is light but seems well made. She plans to keep a candle in it and use it now and then.

These are very light weight. I expected them to be heavier. They feel cheap to me. Up close they look cheap also. On the mantle from a distance they look ok. I will keep them for now but will look for something nicer. If you like the cute, yet not the best quality Hobby Lobby look, this may work for you. If your looking for heavy antique quality not so much. They are just holding candles so they will do the job.

It looks neat sitting on a table or shelf, and it's ready for use if there's a black-out. The carrying handle isn't big enough for more than one of my fingers, but it's easy to hold.
