I’ve purchased this food several times because it’s the only dry dog food that consistently agrees with both of my dogs’ sensitive stomachs. Finding a grain-free food that they both enjoy and digest well has been a challenge, but this one has been a perfect fit. Since switching to Nature’s Recipe Grain Free, their stomachs have done much better, and they get excited at mealtime every day. I love that salmon is the first ingredient, and I feel good knowing they’re getting quality nutrition without grains that can upset their digestion. Another bonus is the price. Amazon consistently has the best price I’ve been able to find, and having it delivered right to my door makes it even more convenient. If your dog has a sensitive stomach and you’re looking for a quality grain-free food, this has been an excellent choice for my two dogs. I’ll definitely continue buying it.

One of the only foods my dog can eat. He's an American pit bull terrier and has very sensitive skin and sensitive stomach. Almost all other foods make him vomit and/or itch. This food does not. He loves it. I have no issue with the smell. You can smell the salmon and you can visibly see some of the oils. His coat looks great. If you have a similar breed or have a dog with similar problems, give this a try.

I have been feeding my boys this food for about 2 years. Their coats shine, they are happy, energetic and have a clean bill of health from the vet. They absolutely love the flavor! I definitely recommend this food to anyone who has a dog with allergies to grains. Or even a dog without allergies they have several recipes available.

My dog suffers from allergies, so I tried switching to Nature's Recipe dog food a while back to see if salmon would make a difference. Although the food didn't make a difference with her allergies, it is really good for her sensitive stomach and she became much more "regular" afterward thanks to the pumpkin and fiber content. I like to order from Amazon because it is much more cost effective than buying it at the grocery store and you can get a bigger bag. Since this is a larger size, it does come delivered in a box that you will have to deal with disposing of. The bag is also difficult to open and I have to use scissors. Overall, this is a good quality food and a better bargain when you use Amazon's subscribe and save.

Grain Free dog food is better for my vizsla; he has food sensitivities. He has taken to this food mixed with his favorite wet, grain free foods in the evening. His skin malodies have subsided! Try this for your special fur baby!

Even though my ‘big’ 50 lb Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier would enjoy his Nature’s Recipe Salmon Grain free Dog Food from a larger bag - Having his quality Dog Food delivered - rain/ sunshine is a big relief to me - And In a smaller bag it is easier for me to open and move it around - I am older . It’s a relief knowing he has a regular fresh supply of his favorite food source . His Vets say it is keeping him healthy and perky as a Senior Dog, too! ! Great Value especially on my Amazon Plan! He likes it so much he worked hard to open it up for his dinner recently - while I was out with friends! Ha! There was a box of well known treats next to the unopened bag - didn’t touch them!! This is such a good dog food. I was looking for a dog food that would help my dogs skin, digestion and keep them full an not begging all day. I have tried a lot of dog food. When I fed them this food in about 2 weeks everything changed. They stopped scratching and chewing, they slept better, their gassy stomach stopped and they started eating once a day and was satisfied. I had been looking for grain free that was nutritious and this was exactly what I was looking for. The food is smaller bites not like the larger bites of Pedigree and it's easier for my dogs to eat. I originally bought this at WalMart but it's a much better deal on Amazon. It comes in a bigger bag and the price is so much better and they deliver it. I cannot recommend this dog food enough. I finally found a healthy, quality dog food that checks all the boxes and makes my dogs' life better.
