I waited to write this review because, as you can see from the first picture, the femur came broken. We don't like broken bones in our household, so I contacted Amazon and requested an exchange. The exchange process was extremely easy and FAST. I had my replacement within 36 hours! I wanted to include this part in the review because I know so many times if an item comes broken it can be more hassle than it's worth to return or replace it. For this item, and with how easy it was, I hope to demonstrate it is worth the minimal effort. UPS came and picked it up at my door.Now, the product itself IS high quality. It's an actual femur length, probably suitable to someone 5'8" and looks extremely realistic. The reason this one broke was probably it got dropped from a tall height, but the second one came in perfect condition. The saying "Til Death" is embossed into the femur and has either acrylic or laquer paint in black that really stands out. It is very sturdy on its stand. When hung, the hardware is firmly secured to the hip ball and, when using the screw and drywall anchor supplied, it feels as well hung as a traditional picture frame. If you're concerned about it falling off still, the triangular hoop on the back is big enough to accommodate picture wire or even a chain. I love my oddities and macabre decorations and this is featuring prominently in my living room forever now! Love it!

This arrived in a cellophane sealed box, a very sturdy box, with molded foam inside to keep the “bone” and stand holder separate. There were also some stickers inside.This is an interesting piece of “art” for some reason diminished by the lettering on the front that is embedded, it would look better without the words all dug into it.Also, the hanging bracket on the back is mounted high enough to see from the front, a sort of shame they did not put either the hardware down lower or use something smaller not to stick up so visible.All in all an unusual find, I’m sure we’ll get some good practical jokes pulled with this thing. In the meantime, just letting it sit for the next unsuspecting person to glance at it & have to question is it real, why do we have it, and why is it in plain view!

We have friends that are having a Halloween wedding and they're all into the horror stuff and all of that. As soon as I saw this I knew it would be perfect as soon as we gave it to them. They absolutely loved it and are going to incorporate it into their wedding. Not that it's necessarily something you would use for a wedding for normal people. But if you know somebody into the odd and eclectic stuff, this is actually really cool. It's really nice as far as the quality goes and the packaging is top notch.

This thing is of quite a better quality than I expected. I really expected a cheap dollar store trinket but somebody made this with love.- was packaged securely in thick foam as to not get damaged in shipping- it's got a nice weight to it, it is not the dollar store plastic Halloween bones- the colors and texture are dimensional which adds the the visual appeal- if you want to hang it on the wall it comes with a hook on the back of the bone itself as well as a screw and an anchor. If yo don't want it on the wall it had a not-too-conspicuous hole on the bottom of the bone to slide it onto the provided stand so it can sit on a shelf. I like that you have either option to fit your decor space.-also comes with some neat stickers and who doesn't love surprises extras?This was such a random, unique find I can't wait to add this to my Halloween setup in a couple weeks!

This is a heck of an idea-- a life-size femur to place on display. Okay, who wouldn't love that? Nobody!I love it, it was packaged so well in a large box with lots of foam padding, it is a heavy sculpture, it comes with its own stand so you can stand it up or hang it on the wall as it has a hanger for it on the back.It says "Til Death" on the bone, and it is so lovely, my eyes nearly bulge out of my skull cavity every time I see it, which is often as it is beside my work area. It is one of the most interesting things I have ever ordered from Amazon-- I love it so much!Also, it seems like it is made by a big deal sculpture, and it comes with femur stickers, and a scan code for your phone to receive a free exclusive digital gift. This is the coolest thing ever!

This is outstanding. Gorgeous. Solid and sturdy. The lettering is engraved onto the bone, so there is no danger of it coming off. The quality is impeccable. It's beautiful enough to leave up year-round. The packaging was incredible. It even came with some stickers. This is 100%, completely, without a doubt, worth it. Love this.

I was really impressed by how realistic this looks up close. The box it comes is is really nice and I felt kinda guilty throwing it away. No regrets from me here.
