This set complements the rest of our wooden train set pieces. The magnets are strong and they stay connected. The cars are made out of wood, so they are durable. They are simply designed, but traditional. They are colorful, interesting, and fun and you don’t need batteries to oppress them! I like the addition of the truck with crane and the block cargo combo. I like the fact that the crane manually moves up and down and the crane magnetically loads the cargo block to the train car. That’s a cute, unique little addition. This set would also make a great gift. Would recommend!👍

This set works as it should, especially when on a Brio-like wooden track. The truck has a way to raise and lower the boom, adding fine motor skills practice with loading and unloading.The cab part of the truck can come off with rougher handling, but I wouldn't call it fragile. The boom part is screwed in.Very nice, colorful, and sturdy for toddlers to enjoy.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a well made small train set, it would work well as a gift alongside a couple more train sets and tracks if a child doesn’t have any. The trains and the animals are brightly colored and well painted, and the wheels glide smoothly. The magnets are strong, but the trains are easily detached and reattached by toddlers.The animals are a little small for the foster kids I have right now, but the train is still fun without the animals, but I would definitely follow the manufacturers recommendation about age range since the animals are small, and my kids are big about putting stuff in their mouths.The set is small, but it is unique and way more cost effective than the name brand train sets. This is a cool, unique addition to a standard train table.

We were interested in this train set because of the crane - it adds another level to imaginative play. The crane is easy to wind up and down with the button and my kid enjoys incorporating it into his train set. All the cars in this set are compatable with his standard wooden train tracks.

I wish I could have ordered all of these! I love all the variations of trains! The details are great! I'm going to use them as stocking stuffers for my boys. They fit our wooden train tracks perfectly.

The media could not be loaded.  My kid is a train aficionado, and I was especially excited by this model because it looks a lot like the light rail system in the Twin Cities (which we ride). After receiving it, I realized that I would probably not have bought it if I had a chance to experience it in person first.The positives are:- Solid-feeling construction- Appealing "bullet train" design- Gauge and height that's compatible with all major wooden tracks (e.g., Brio, Melissa & Doug, Lillabo)The negatives are:- Chips on the paint in the corners upon arrival- The train wheels are far spaced but are not any kind of a steering attachment, so they get caught on tight turns (see video). This would not be a problem with Lillabo (they don't have tight turn tracks), but is a problem with all other track systems- Poor attention to detail limits types use. The "head" and "tail" wagons are identical, including magnet polarity, which means that they cannot be used together without the middle wagon (which has the same polarity magnet on both sides). It also means that the tailpiece cannot be added as intended to other wagons you might already have (since all other wagons have a different polarity on each side).In this case, the negatives outweigh the positives, especially at this price point.

The media could not be loaded.  This wooden train toy is well built. It has strong magnets that hold the cars together, and the wheels roll smoothly. My son likes it. Sorry for his vocal stemming in the background of the video. But he's pumped up after playing with this train.

I got these for my youngest who loves trains,These trains are cute, but they’re smaller than the standard wooden track train, which is why I reduced the stars.The colors are true to the picture and my kiddo still loves them. They feel like good quality, no loose wheel, no damage upon opening. Good price for what you’re getting.
