I love the two layers, the outer layer is waterproof and I stayed warm in 50+MPH winds. the inner layer is a down material which is warm on its own. The length is perfect with covering your bottom. The pockets are higher and have zippers so you don't have to carry a bag. It is easy to wash and fitting. I was able to wear a sweater underneath and it not feel bulky. Perfect all season jacket with options for how many layers you need to wear.
