An important and uplifting story with Islam at its heart, about hijab, kindness and celebrating each other's differences, from Olympic medallist and Muslim author Ibtihaj Muhammad. Also in the series: The Proudest Blue and The Boldest White Review: As good as the first - Well written. A wonderful story with beautiful illustrations. Our 4 year old loved it! Review: Great Story, Bad Quality - The story of the book, like that of the first "The Proudest Blue", is very beautiful as are the illustrations. In contrast to the first book, however, the processing is really bad, especially for such a price. Yes, it's hardcover and thus the cover itself is much more stable, but the pages themselves aren't anywhere near as high quality as the first book, you have to be really careful not to tear anything when you turn the page, so I'm deducting two points. I'm always willing to spend money on books, but for just under 20 euros I've adjusted to the quality I'm used to. Too bad.

A beautiful story about friendship โค
I got this book because my 4 year old daughter immediately loved The Proudest Blue (I loved it too!) & I was so excited to see another book by this author. This story follows the same sisters/family and is a real joy to read. The pictures are lovely & the message of caring for your friends & the gift of community building is woven in a unique & touching way. We read this one several times a week & I always look forward to it. A great book!!!!
