Great picture quality, use with home base for better experience
Excellent camera! The 4k quality is Setup was fairly easy and linked up with ease to my Eufy home base.

Excellent product, super customer service
I highly recommend Eufy and have my friends referred to use this company for their home surveillance. Reliable devices, good network, super clear video. Easy setup. And when there’s issues it’s easy o get hold of support and they troubleshoot or replace your device! Very reliable

Works almost perfectly even when surrounded by WiFi but…
I really like the 24/7 recordings of this professional camera. I’ll return to this camera later. I Love my eufy cameras. I have 4 different eufy camera types and all 4 types have their own strengths and weaknesses but combined they work great at helping keep our property secure. Now back to this camera. Although I’m not a techie, I wish eufy would offer us a version of this 24/7 Professional camera that connects through POE or through a common rj45 cable. These cameras are great but I’m still wanting at least 1 camera with a wired connection for more secure and hopefully smoother recordings. Even in the hood I live in I’m constantly surrounded by up to 20 different WiFi signals. Common eufy I know you can do it.

Will not work past about a 20 foot power cable.
Absolutely the most frustrating experience trying to get two of these to work. Narrowed the problem down to when going into IR night mode, they would power off. Eufy support suggested firmware, that didn't work, then suggested factory reset, that didn't work. Signal, a strong power was strong. Nothing seemed to keep them connected at night unless I turned off IR vision. Very disappointing, as they look great during the day. And the motion functions seem to work really well. The few minutes they would work at night with color, the video was very clear. I can only surmise the power cable I used was not a heavy enough gauge. I tested them connected to the power supply forcing night mode by covering and they worked okay. So I stepped up the power supply to a 14 V, 5 amp, and this still didn't work, with measured 14 V at the camera. The camera comes with a 1 amp supply, that means you'll need a 20g power wire to go 50 feet. Almost all BNC piggyback power cables are going to be 20 gage or smaller. So don't plan on swapping an old bnc circuit camera with one of these. Probably why Eufy only makes a 33 foot extension, and even that gets returned a lot for not working.

It’s an awesome camera!
I have an expensive wired NVR POE camera system with 24 cameras around my house. At first I bought the indoor Eufy cameras to be able to watch the dog while at work. Then I replaced our Ring camera with a Eufy doorbell. Then I replaced a defective door lock with a Eufy lock. I got a $100 Amazon gift card incentive from work, so I decided to try an outdoor Eufy camera. It’s amazing. The clarity is outstanding! Options and settings, AI detection, Handoff etc. all excellent. The only downside to Eufy, is the way they allow access to a desktop browser. You have to activate it from the phone app and it’s only good for a short period of time. If there was a desktop application that could display the camera feeds full time, I’d consider these cameras over my wired POE system.

A good camera but with some annoyances.
Good:1-Daytime and nighttime video quality with and without IR.2-Nightime IR Illuminator has good throw, but will washout if the camera is aimed against a wall.3-Software and hardware setup were a breeze with iOS and ASUS home router setup with mesh network.4-24hr recording is nice to finally have, but see the annoyances below.Annoying:1-The microphone and sound recording is horrible compared to my Nest cam. I don’t know if it’s the audio compression or microphone gain, but it’s hard to pickup simple voices. My Nest was crystal clear, this eufy sounds distorted.2-The mounting arm doesn’t have enough adjustability. I still can’t get the ideal recording elevation I want because of the nature of the mount. I have the S330 as well, and the mounting solution for that is much superior. Why could they just copy that? The best I’ve used is honestly the Nest with a powerful magnet, you could hit any angle you wanted easily.3-Thumbnails on video playback would be nice. For now you have to endure video buffering when you search for time without any preview of what the camera has recorded.4-The power cord could be a few feet longer.I’m coming from a pre-Google Nest setup and am actually still using some of their outdoor and indoor cameras, I just wanted to try something with 4K and with local recording non-subscription - something their cameras are lacking. IMO the native Nest APP has the most user friendly and intuitive playback. If Eufy could emulate a lot of their app interface features, they’d have an outstanding product. For now I’m giving the camera in its current form a 3.5/5.

Camera is great! Small bugs w/ updates
This is a short and simple review.Pros:- Day/night video quality is great. You can clearly see faces.- Motion detection and AI is great.- Power adapter is small and easily fits into small spaces.- 24/7 recording works great.- Cross-camera tracking is great. Works well with other non-24/7 cameras.Cons:- Updating the camera, HB3, and the Eufy app was hard. Updates took forever to show up and were extremely slow.- Not a fan of the mounting system. A simple ball mount would be better.- Loading 24/7 footage can be slow but this may just be the HDD I have.Summary - It's a very good camera. Works well in both day and night. It's motion detection is excellent. There is a MicroSD card slot on the camera but it is currently not supported. Eufy said the camera should work standalone in the future.
