I got these to wear around the house and even though cotton, was not expecting them to be as heavy a material as they are. Its not bad but definitely not a hot weather short. Overall they fit OK, but I am a size 35-36, so I ordered a Large and these feel a little tight. The waist itself has extra room but its the front panel and thigh area that is constrictive some; either the size is slightly off or its just a bad cut. I can wear them fine, but if I was using for anything athletic, that might be a concern.

Seems to be sized correctly. They fit my son as expected. The drawstring does come in handy as he is not the standard medium. They did wash well with not much shrinking. I would buy more pairs for my son for sure.

So I was initially worried that these might be too warm given the material. However I was wrong they are fairly light and airy and no different than regular athletic shorts. The jist happen to look a little more formal and can be worn for many occasions rather than just going to the gym. The color is great!

Got these for my husband. He loved them. They are perfect for hot summers and heading to the gym. They were a perfect fit - he wears a Large and is 6'3" with a 34" waist. Hope that helps someone else. They are soft and the drawstring is great for heavy activity.

These are great shorts for working out, playing basketball, or lounging around the house. They're comfortable with wide waistband and a long drawstring. What's really smart are the zippered side pockets for securely holding a locker key, house key, car keys, or recreation center card key while working out or playing basketball.

Size chart appears to be accurate so definitely stick to that (I focused mainly on my waist size). Shorts are nicely made, and also decently thick material as well. As a 5'11" 180lbs athletic build male with about a 33" waist measurement, the Mediums fit well. Being cotton, they will likely shrink a bit however, so that's something to consider.
