Subaru 2024-26 Crosstrek, 2019-26 Forester, 2026 Outback Rear Liftgate LED Light Upgrade- 84671SJ101VH - Genuine OEM

The Subaru Rear Liftgate LED Light Upgrade for my 2024 Subaru is definitely worth it. It makes the cargo area much brighter, especially at night, and it’s a huge improvement over the factory lighting. Honestly, this should have been a factory-installed option from the start. Installation was straightforward, and the difference in visibility is noticeable right away. I highly recommend it to any 2024 Subaru owner looking for a simple but worthwhile upgrade.

Arrived on time. Every easy to install no tools required done in a couple of minutes. Set the switch to door so when you open the tailgate the light turns on automatically and shut off automatically. And super bright.

After finding the harness, it was plug and play. Less than 5 minutes and it was put in. The OEM look is amazing and it should have been shipped with the car when new. It’s bright enough and adds easily seen light. It fit perfectly because of the OEM looks. And while it’s a bit price it’s is a genuine Subaru part so you know the quality is good.

Installs in about 5 seconds, and I have no ideal why Subaru makes you but this after market. It is programmed into the car, so it turns on and off when you close the trunk or lock it, like all the other factory lighting. This baby is bright!

The OEM bulbs are sadly lacking in brightness which isn’t so bad in the interior as it’s a soft yellow vs these bright white LEDs. The cargo liftgate lights however are pretty dim. You will be able to actually see your cargo once these things are installed which were decently easy to do.

So easy to install and it has the door/on functionality. Fit perfectly, looks good and great brightness. It is a genuine Subaru part so the quality is great.

Gives just enough light needed to the rear cargo area in my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. Was very easy to install. Highly recommend.

Arrived on time in waterproof box. No instructions so 1 star off. No, not as bright as it should be but since I have the Narati cargo LED light which is actually hard to look at (almost too bright) this is fine. I also have Narati 3 pc LED kit for map lts and ceiling lt. A recommended cost-effective upgrade. I'd say this is half as bright as those. The previous hatch light kit from another company on Amazon was 2/3 this price & much brighter but don't get it; didn't have good connection and wouldn't stay lit. Here's the deal with finding the connector. There are only 2 unconnected plugs in the hole. With hatch open, look up & it should be the one at 11-12 o'clock position; They've folded its cable then tiewrapped it with the connector tucked inboard and hidden from sight. (prob. to prevent rattling so can't fault them. Then they tie-wrapped the doubled-over cable too close to the connector to safely cut. It finally undoubled itself by grasping cable NOT connector & pulling sideways toward the connector,(hope that makes sense) & had to exert steady 5-10 lb force to free it. To get plastic blank out, find the slot at L rear and use an angled trim tool or screw driver (careful if metal ) to free the rear edge. Next, tip rear edge away from hatch and slide it toward you. Install new one in reverse order. Kudos to them for molding an arrow on inside of panel, which should point toward interior of car. Love that it comes on with the other interior lights. Wish the cargo light did too. It has a R/L large slider switch 2 positions: L is OFF/ R is on only when hatch is open. Think it should have the option to manually turn it on so someone sleeping in back could turn it on w/o opening the hatch!! SUBARU- don't be so cheesy about the interior lights, or in this case....lack thereof.

This liftgate LED is super easy to install and gives off much-needed bright white light. Almost a necessary addition. I'm very glad I got it. Anyone can install this with no special tools or skill. If I can do it....

In my 2024 crosstrek convenience this was extremely easy to install, plug and play. Just pop the cover off, locate the connector up top, may take a little digging, mine was folded back. The added light makes the visibility in the trunk space so much better and turns off after closing like the pre-installed light to the left. The light is whiter that the bulb that comes pre-installed on the side of the left side trunk, just FYI looks great to me though.

Easy to install (plug and play). Much brighter now when I'm getting something out or in my trunk. Pretty expensive but worth it in my opinion!

Great price fast shipping, fit my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. So far no issues works great definitely recommend. I saw one comment of someone saying that the light stays on if your doors are unlocked. That's definitely not true he must have gotten a defective one.
