I was impressed immediately upon receipt of this item for my home office. The first was, this thing is heavy and very solidly built. The 2nd was upon opening it and reviewing the setup instructions and then setting it up, it was very well thought out. Took about 10 minutes to completely assemble. If you follow the instructions the packaging is even setup to make it super easy to unpack. It's literally open the boxes as instructed, push the legs into some slots under the table, secure them with a couple of bolts each and then secure the feet to the legs with a couple of more bolts each and then slide the control panel into its assembly, turn the table over and done! My team at work has had some cheaper desks that were far more involved and installation was like an hour and the build quality was less. Yes, they cost about 1/2 as much, but I seriously believe this desk is going to outlive me. The next thing, was I was really impressed with the quality. I can tell this thing will last a long time. The desk top is much better than the ones we have at work. The curved and angled front edge is very comfortable and gives the table a very nice appearance. It's a solid 1.25" thick. The top will be super easy to clean and appears that it will resist typical desk attacks from dropped staple removes, tape dispensers, etc. The legs are super solid and I am not sure how you would damage them, they are way stronger and better built than some of the others I have seen. The control panel can be moved from right side to left with the simple removal of 2 screws and then placing it on the left and re-screwing into the pre-drilled holes! I also got this desk because its upper range was over 50". I am 6'3" and find the extra couple of inches make a big deal in my comfort when standing up.

Rock solid and sturdy, with smooth motion and an extra comfortable edge for typing. This is definitely the best lift desk I’ve owned. One drawback is that the grommets are kind of in the way for a desk lamp, but the plastic rings can be removed and you can set a wider base lamp there if you want, and it will hide the hole and sit flush. The assembly process was extremely simple. You just bolt on the legs and connect the motors to the power unit. As far as standing desks go, it’s appealing to the eye, provided you do your cable management. You can do better with some brands in terms of warranty or rated weight (not that 200lb is in any way lacking!), but the combination of easy assembly, dual motors, the ergo edge, and superior aesthetics led me to choose this over, e.g. FlexiSpot. 25% off made it a compelling value for me.

Amazing desk, easy to build/configure, and the height adjustment is perfect for both my wife (5'7") and myself at (5' 11"). We have been using this for over a year now and has been fantastic with no pealing/chipping/or any other cosmetic issues. Recommend highly

Working from home full time. I looked at many desks. I liked the look and size 54x25 for my breakfast nook space and access to windows! Assembly was the easiest took 20 min tops. The motor is quiet and raises and lowers perfectly. If you’re looking for a great work set up buy the vari desk! They added a coffee coaster and extra cord management- nice touch! Reclaimed wood laminate is perfect and looks like real wood - but easy to clean and wipe off. Very stable. Both high and low, buy it, if you need a great desk.

Having come from 30+ years on Herman Miller 72x36 conference tables (L configuration), I am accustomed to rock solid sturdiness, excellent build quality, and top shelf excellence. My setup includes two ultra wide screens and Wacom tablet. I purchased the 60x30 curved model for my primary table with a second to be purchased now that I have experienced Vari's product. I have used the Vari only a few days, however, I can give a few observations: The product was ordered (Amazon) on Cyber Monday around 6pm (EST; Atlanta) and arrived via FedEx less than 15 hours later! Setup took less than 10 minutes - including unboxing, assembly, and programming. Packaging was EXCELLENT. Everything was where it needed to be for efficient assembly. As a electromechanical engineer, I cannot suggest a single improvement to Vari. They have designed a truly stable and solid product, packaged it for efficient assembly, and priced it fairly. Operation is quite, fast, and powerful. I am +100% impressed and will be ordering a second one today. When reviewers state the ease of assembly, they are 100% correct. With 8 SHCS, 4 flat washers and two hex wrenches (included), no tools or extras are needed. If this product is in your budget, you cant go wrong! Update: One issue I find is bottom edges of table top need radius'. Currently, they are too aggressive and unfriendly to touch.

In the product photos, it looks like real wood. Even in person, it looks pretty close to real. However, as soon as you touch it, you know that it's plastic. It's not even a real wood veneer. It's a plastic film with a photo of real wood printed on it. Underneath the film is pressboard. Despite that, I do like the desk. It's very sturdy. There is zero wobble even when at standing height. When it's moving up or down, it's fairly quiet. The controls are easy to use. It was packaged very well. It was pretty easy to assemble. The sloped front edge of the desktop looks nice, but there is no ergonomic advantage to it. If you have the desk adjusted to the right height, your forearms are level with the desktop and your wrists are not at risk of contacting it, so the slope doesn't matter at all. There is very little space under the desktop to mount a sliding drawer. I can't find anything on Amazon that would fit. So you need to be okay with not having any drawers.

I love this desk. When searching for the right standing desk, I was the most concerned about how stable it would be for writing and typing especially if I am walking on a treadmill while working. Majority of the desks I ran across this seemed to be the biggest complaint. When you raise the desk, it is butter smooth and pretty quiet. The desk is SOLID. Although laminate as you can see in my photo, it honestly feels just about as heavy as a solid piece of wood would be. MDF...This is a fantastic piece of thick MDF that will stand the test of time. One other feature that you should be paying attention to is the front edge. Having it curved instead of straight is perfect if you are standing it and especially if you are going to put a treadmill or bike underneath it. Then the fact that this front edge is beveled...now that is the best part of this desk! When you are typing or writing you don't have a hard edge that you have to rest your arms on, the fact that it curves with your arms is the best. The only thing I didn't see when I ordered it was two things, one you need to order the cable box separately and 2 there is no built in charging ports. I was going to purchase a different desk that had the usb and usb-c charging ports but choose this one and didn't see that this was not included. I wish it was. That is the only thing that i wish it had. Other than that, its great. You can see that as I am 5'7" the desk at its full height and me standing flat-footed on the ground comes up to my chest. This desk would comfortably fit anyone up to 6ft easily. But if you do add a treadmill underneath it that is a couple of inches high, then there might be some thoughts that 'I wish it could do a little higher' at that point though I'd recommend just getting a small stand for your computer and raise it the additional amount that way. This desk is sturdy enough that having a stand with your laptop or monitor on it wouldn't be an issue. The cute addition to the desk was it came with two 'purse hooks'. I do like these as they are soft so as not to scratch the desk and fit perfectly. All in all, this desk is great, and I highly recommend it. Hope you found this review helpful.
