Hi, the Cover2 IR OTG Safety Glasses have an IR filter shade of 5.0 for use around light welding or light brazing/cutting.

Do they block light coming in from the bottom?

These are designed to fit over prescription glasses and provide side protection. Light coming through the bottom will depend on the fit of the individual customer's face.

do these glasses block blue light spectrum also? around the 460 nm range)

Thank you for your question. Gateway Safety 6966 Cover2 Safety Glasses have an IR Filter lens (shade 5) which is used for light welding, brazing or cutting applications only. They do not block blue light spectrum. Gateway does have a couple of styles with a specific blue light filter lens that are available on Amazon, these include the Gateway Safety 14GB75 Hawk Wraparound Safety Glasses and the Gateway Safety 16GB69M Scorpion Adjustable Safety Glasses.
