It has 5 speeds but why is the 4th speed higher than the 5th speed?

How do I attach the lanyard to this fan?

You loop each end of the small clip to each side of the handle, like you would a phone charm. Then you can clip it free when needed.

I don’t consider it loud at all. I keep it on all night next to my bed. No problems sleeping with it on.
