pleasing and in tune
Got this tuning fork to check if I had a broken bone in my foot. Seriously, it's a thing-- you can google it. No idea if being in tune matters for my purposes, but I checked it against my battery-operated tuner device, which said this tuning fork is accurately a "C" (theoretically the best for alerting on a broken bone).I could feel the vibrations in my foot, but no matter where I pressed the bottom of the tuning fork, I never experienced a sharp spike of wildly increased pain. Looks like I just had a really painful foot, but no broken bone? If I end up getting an Xray which contradicts that, I'll try to give an update. But, 5 days later my foot is much better. So the theory has not been disproven yet, at least.Note that this tuning fork is the kind that does NOT create a loud audible tone. You can HEAR it, but it's not "that kind." Instead, it vibrates like crazy. I guess more for bodywork than tuning a musical instrument.I like the blue color, and the fit and finish is pleasing. It's smooth with no burrs or hangnails.

Great quality.
Sends a medium vibration when placed on a bone. If there's a hairline fracture it will elicit a pain response.

Tuning fork rings well with good sustain. Not exactly tuned to pitch, but close.
I purchased this 128 hz (C3) tuning fork to experiment using it in meditation practice and also maybe pain management. This tuning fork does not ring exactly at 128 hz. It is -38ct, using a professional tuner. Close enough that it registers correctly as C3, but far enough off that the human ear can definitely hear the difference when you ring it with an instrument that is tuned precisely. I wondered if adjusting the weights could bring it to pitch, since it has hex screws holding them in place. Also, I don't know if that level of accuracy is necessary when using the fork in an effort to diminish headaches, body aches, or in mediation.I'm curious about any technique that has advocates enthusiastically supporting it. Supplements, exercises, meditation techniques, and now add to that body work using a tuning fork all seem to give benefits, but they are so subtle it's sometimes difficult to know if the technique is working or the perceived benefits are purely due to a placebo effect. I'm going to continue experimenting with it.

Quality is very good
This is the first one I've ever bought. It's got a nice pitch and vibrates for a long time...

Smaller than thought
Didn’t seem to vibrate as long as I had hoped.
