Chimes Garden Organic Mung Beans for Sprouting, Asian Cuisine & More, 16-Ounce Pouches

These mung beans are of a super deluxe quality. I sprouted them in a mason jar in a dark place, rinsing twice a day. They were delicious when I made stir fry. Sprouts are doen when little leaves are seen peeking out of the bean. If they are left too long, the sprouts get root hairs. These sprouts had every sign of being ready, but they were not plump like those in the supermarket or Chinese restaurant. They are tastier because the plumper ones are water logged in comparison. These are really full of flovor.

great product, great growth and taste

I am a fist time sprouted and with so many options available, it really ends up to just hunkering down and choosing one. I really lucked out with these. My sprouts actually sprouted way faster than I was told they would. I can’t take credit for any secret trick because as I said, I’m a newbie. Therefore, it stands to reason, these seeds are great! I had very minimal throw out, meaning majority of seeds sprouted. I only did a small quantity ( about an eighth of a cup) for my first try, honestly because I wanted to use all of my sprouts without storing any leftover and that amount worked well for me. Now I can sprout my own after not having a source at all to buy them here in this state.

dirty and not food grade, false advertisement.

They made fine shoots, but did not sprout, and in no way tasted like mung beans. They tasted more like peas, which is fine, but not what I purchased.

I received this sprouts yesterday and I soaked them over night. During daytime I stored seeds in dark room/bathroom / by registrar with warm air and rinsed them twice . And!!! Before 11 pm tonight I noticed my mung seeds is sprouting and ready to eat!!!I use *sprout-ease* lids.

it is good product with expensive tag

These sprouted quickly and produced tasty bean sprouts. Clearly fresh, and they were clean and well packed.
