I wanted a fire guard for our log burner, to stop our daft house rabbit going near it when it was in use.I like the plain design of this guard, which almost disappears into the decor so isn't jarring to the eye. The "flaps" can fold at any angle from 0° to 180°, and it does not feel flimsy at all. It's very easy to put up in place, and folds away flat too. I'm very happy with this.

We have a central burner which opens in both lounges, it's been an issue since our smaller pooch toddles through leaving my larger dog stuck in the other room 🤣 Anyway I decided the tantrums weren't worth it so invested in this fireguard slash dog stopper!It works perfectly. Heavy and pretty detailing.I'm happy with this purchase.

Very impressed. Fireguard arrived in good time & very well packaged. This fireguard is VERY sturdy, very Solid & strong, does not twist or warp in any way. Looks very nice & doesn’t look out of place at all on the hearth. We bought this to keep a puppy safe and can honestly say it is just the job! Would definitely recommend this for puppy safety.

Had a slight issue my end with this produce which there customer service dealt with superbly but most of all the product looks great in from of our fire here in the pub. Was ready built which saves some time and fits most fires places. Really good quality for the price and excellent service all round

Impressed with this fire guard.Looks stylish and as the mesh goes to the top of the guard stops sparks flying over the top.Good buy in my opinion

Just right

This fireguard on the face of it is good. It is sturdy and heavy but there is one major flaw. There is huge gap showing on the hinge area and indeed a spark did mange to get through and onto our carpet. It is good for child safety etc but I do not trust it unattended and I do I end up putting another fire guard inside. If I had a way of contacting the company I would but no contact seller option on Amazon. I have looked at other guards and many have this fire risk failing. I need a big heavy fireguard but I will now modify this by adding some flexible metal mesh along these joins.
