Don't absorb, but I'm not sure if they need washing first to fluff them up. If this is as good as they get, then I'm going to be really disappointed.

So much lint!
I was excited to get new towels that were thinner to dry faster and were lint free. I guess I was looking at more expensive towels that were described as lint free. These are definitely not! Washed them and took them out of the dryer and they were covered in lint balls! ☹️ I'm sitting here tonight plucking all the lint off them so I can try them out tomorrow, but very disappointed in how they washed up
