Best Fruit Fly Trap I've Found
Best fruit fly traps I've found. I have a potager (kitchen garden) right out my back door. Therefore I attract more than my share of fruit flies. Since tomatoes should never be refrigerated (the cold destroys its flavor) I have tomatoes that sit on my counter, sometimes getting overripe. Boy do fruit flies love rotten tomatoes! All I need to do is set one of these traps next to my vegetables or fruit and by the next morning nearly every fruit fly is gone. Give it a few more days and they are eradicated. Interestingly, the directions say to change them out once a month. I disagree. All I need to do is shake it and set it back down...continues killing those little buggers. I've had one that has lasted well over 3-5 months. They are only for fruit flies so they will not work on other insects that I have found. I have a trap sitting by my garbage disposal in my sink - they like that place too, ick. Works like a charm!

Holy Cow!
I was dealing with gnat like insects in my kitchen and living room that were driving me nuts. The day this product was delivered, I took two out, punched the holes in them with the provided stick and... within hours problem solved. I highly recommend. Also, I was not compensated in any way for writing this review. It’s just a darn good product.

they work
These traps work very well. Using them, I've gone from a lot of gnats to almost none. And their customer service is exceptional. My first order was missing a stick needed for opening the little holes in the traps so I sent them an e-mail. Not only did they quickly reply with suggestions for what I could do short term but they also sent me 2 sticks & 2 extra traps!!. All customer service should be like theirs.

saran wrap with one small hole and some terribly sweet wine
The vinegar used for this trap hardly attracts any fruit flies. I have had them out for nearly a month and see ONE fly total in all 3 traps I have set out so far. I made my own trap with a small cup, saran wrap with one small hole and some terribly sweet wine. I caught 20 flies in 3 days with it. They could be more effective if a different attractant is used.

These fruit fly traps are pretty much a staple in my house
These fruit fly traps are pretty much a staple in my house, but we had been ordering them from another retailer...until it occurred to me to look for them on Amazon! This is a great deal, as you get more of these. I just leave them in discreet areas in the kitchen without any sort of covering. I've tried many other options to get rid of those annoying, little buggers, but these work the best!
