Bought this product for use in hen house smells good and drop a few drops on the hens in keeping grass mice’s/lice at bay

Wonderful stuff. Ordered for several family members too. I pu 2 drops on my toothpaste before brushing and it stops sensitive teeth and cleans & freshens the mouth. I also put 2 drops in a small amount of warm water and gargle etc. Best mouth wash and its natural. A total essential.

Dislike it’s not working quickly

Aside from the fact I love the smell, I bought it as a humane way to euthanise my pet fish when treatments fail. Worked perfectly, fish fall asleep then as you slowly add more in they stop breathing.

I bought this bottle of KUKKA Clove Oil not for aromatherapy or skincare, but for the hardest part of fish keeping: euthanasia. It felt strange to use something that smells so warm and comforting—like holiday spices—for such a somber task. However, the high concentration of eugenol in this oil acted quickly. My Oscar, who had been struggling with dropsy for weeks, drifted off peacefully within minutes. No gasping, no thrashing—just a quiet transition. It is a small mercy to have a professional-grade tool for such a heartbreaking moment. How to Use Clove Oil for Humane Fish Euthanasia Using clove oil is widely considered one of the most humane methods for home aquarists because it acts first as a sedative (anesthetic) before reaching lethal levels. What you will need: A separate small container/bucket (do not do this in the main tank). KUKKA Clove Oil. A small jar with a lid (for mixing). Water from the aquarium. The Process: The Pre-Mix: Clove oil does not mix naturally with water. Put about 3–5 drops of clove oil into a small jar of warm water and shake it vigorously until it looks milky. Sedation: Gently move your fish to the separate container with enough tank water to cover them. Slowly add the milky mixture. Within minutes, your fish will settle at the bottom and their breathing will slow. They are now "asleep" and cannot feel pain. The Final Step: Once the fish is fully sedated (no movement when gently touched), mix a much stronger dose—roughly 20+ drops—in the jar, shake well, and add it to the container. Verification: Keep the fish in the solution for at least 20–30 minutes after all gill movement has stopped to ensure the process is complete. I am sorry you are going through this. It is never easy to lose a pet, regardless of their size.
