These little boxes are actually bigger than they look in the pictures but do match the measurements specified. They are very sturdy plastic and there is a little rubber gasket around the edge. It was a little hard to open and close them at first and made a very loud snapping noise, but if you just push in a little on the latch as you close it, it is quiet!I originally thought these would be good for travelling for q-tips like shown in the picture, but I wouldn't need 100 q-tips for a week long vacation. However they are multi-purpose and would be a good box to have on your nightstand when you travel to put all those little random things in while you sleep (rings, earrings, coins, etc.) that typically get tossed on the dresser and roll off or get knocked onto the floor in the middle of the night. Or you can store any other odds and ends in them around the house.

These are meant to be small travel containers or small boxes for organizing. These are not meant as a pill organizer. If you're looking for a size comparison, they are similar in size to an Altoids tin. These boxes are cute with a smooth feel all the way around. I like the transparent colors of the clear, black, rose, and blue. The containers look good together. They can sit on top of each other, but they are not meant to stay stacked together due to their curved tops. You press the side by the latch to open it and sometimes you need to press the side to securely close the lid.
