Women's Hooded Lightweight Softshell Vest, Windproof Fleece Lined Sleeveless Jacket for Golf Running Travel

I love this vest. My hubby ordered a vest from this brand and I loved the material and how it fit on him. So, I searched this brand’s store and found a women’s vest. I ordered in the spot!! I am 5’6” and 169 lbs so I ordered a large and it fits perfect. It is slightly snug but I prefer it that way as I feel warmer with it close to the body. I really like the big inside pockets and the removable hood. Taking this to Italy with me a couple of weeks.

I'm pear shaped - size 8 on top, 12 on bottom. I purchased this vest in a size XL to accommodate my hips/rear & it fit there, but then it was way too large in the chest/ armpit. This is a common fit issue for me, and it is not the vest's fault. If this had fit, I would have kept it in a heartbeat. It's a very high quality, functional vest that I would have used for cold weather dog walks, which this would have been perfect for. There is no stretch, so you have to size according to your biggest body part.

They are comfortable and fit very nicely, make look slimmer. They have two external pockets with zipper and two internal pockets, perfect for traveling. I wear them when I want to tour the cities and I don’t want to carry a purse or if I carry a purse, I can put my valuables like phone and money in any of the pockets. They need to make some for summer, with light cotton fabrics. Highly recommended.

The medium fit perfectly. But I exchanged it for a size large to have plenty of room to layer and fill pockets. This was my go to layer for a 4 week spring trip to Netherlands, Germany, and Iceland. The vest and hood kept me warm, and if it was raining, I wore a light raincoat over the vest. I rolled the vest up as a pillow on my international flights. Definitely going with me on my next trip.

This vest is good design/quality for its price point. The biggest selling point is the large interior pockets which are super-handy to carry everything I need to run errands or go for a walk. Often the zippers for inexpensive outerwear don’t work too well, but the zippers for this vest are non-issue, at least so far, after a month or so. I like the vest so much I ordered more in different color/style.One disappointment/area of improvement: On one occasion, a supposedly brand new vest arrived with pet hair inside and out! I just cringed. Another time, the vest was a “return” from a "past life" as it was inside a plastic bag that was clearly NOT the original packaging, and worse, whoever re-packaged the vest didn’t even bother to zip up and fold the vest, and the vest was like a “ball” upon arrival. Both vests were clearly “returned” by customers, and that’s ok, BUT it’s the vendor's responsibility to, at least, put some care and attention to make it more presentable, before shipping to another customer. That’s not too much to ask….

Love it and it fits true to size

A nice vest. Good quality. Unfortunately it is way to small even though I used the size chart. I wear size 8 pants and medium shirts and ordered the vest in medium. The front of the medium vest is a good 3 inches shy of being able to be zippered!
