Adequate....but barely
We were looking for a cargo barrier to keep our 35lb terrier mix from jumping into the front seat. The problem is the majority of barriers are comprised of rods or bars that are secured to the headliner and then in turn secured down at the cargo floor. My husband and I were concerned that the headliner might end up getting gouged with a system like that, so we began looking into other options. That's when we found this barrier. If you look closely at the photo, you'll see that it doesn't provide full coverage. We installed it with no issues, but that's when we REALLY noticed the significant gaps at either end. The first thing our dog did was to place his front paws at the side of the seat that's closest to the window. He probably would have jumped to the front that way if we hadn't guilted him into not doing it lol. He's a good boy.The barrier is easy to install and remove, so no problem there. I just can't see this restraining a large, boisterous dog. Once our guy sees this up, he knows to stay to behind it. I think this barrier will only be effective on older, smaller and more relaxed pups.

Barrier is exactly as expected, but having trouble folding it to fit in bag
Ordered this barrier to keep our dog off the bed in our travel trailer. It fits in the space needed and I think it'll work well.I'll post an update if we have an issues with it after some use.Only problem I'm having is I can't figure out how to fold it up to get it back in the bag! The directions sound simple - hold left and right sides, then twist hands in opposite directions to form three concentric circles. I've tried and tried, but cannot get it down small enough to fit. Any tips?

A simple, decent solution, but not as secure as I would prefer
I bought this to supplement our Petego Car Hammock Seat Protector. It is mainly (hopefully) a method of keeping our small terrier from jumping into the front seat, especially when we leave him in the car. So far, it seems to work as I had hoped it to. The barrier installed easily and definitely covers the area between the 2 front seats, behind the head-rests and all the way to the headliner. It doesn't go all the way across from door to door and stops short at the headrests. So the little brat could (and probably will) jump into the front from the sides of the front seats. It is not a "custom" fit, which would be cool if the company made them.WARNING: I do not believe this product and how it installs would be rigid or secure enough to prevent a dog or objects from flying across into the front seats/windshield during a serious collision - especially an animal or objects of any weight over 20lbs. It is not secured in any way at the top headliner, nor does it have any straps which secure the top portion. So anything which hits it could potentially break through or bend it over into the front.

Sure beats metal grates
I have had several metal grates to keep the dogs in the back, but got tired of the marks on the ceiling and the backs of seats, so I decided to give the Solvit a try. Well, I actually teamed it up with one of those hammocks, so I was unable to use the gizmo that attaches it to the front seat. Nevertheless, it has kept the dogs in the back (they still occasionally stick their noses around the left or right) and it doesn't reduce visibility. I like it so much that I got one for my wife (actually the whole setup). Now if we could get a reliable solution for protecting the doors...

Not great but it works..
Not the best but it works for what I need it for. Very hard to set it up. Barely any directions on that. It is a bit too tall for my 2018 Santa Fe Sport. But I jus needed something to block the middle area due to my lab trying to jump over onto the seat while I was driving or at a stop. So Iโm giving this product a 3 star because it is awful if you are trying to have a good barrier but because my dogs donโt try to push up against it or anything it works but if you have a dog who would try to push into it and etc, I do NOT recommend this product. This is something if youโre looking for something cheap and simple.

Not for big dogs
So easy to install, but my labradors made light work of getting past this barrier. Itโs too flexible, and they just pushed right under and over it.

It does what it says.
This is a very light duty screen but it works. Easy to strap on to the back seat, it is light and thin. Unless a dog is completely unruly and scratches at the screen, it works fine. I pick up my daughter's female pit bull for hikes and she would end up on my lap so I had to do something. Can't beat the price and it will fit in most vehicles - I have a Subaru Crosstrek.

Works for my dogs
I put this in the back of my 2010 Honda CR-V. The installation was a little more complicated than I had expected but still only took about 10 minutes to set up. The barrier goes to the ceiling and to the edge of each headrest. It does leave a space for my dogs (boxers) to stick their heads between the head rest and the sides of the car which is fine for me, it may bother other owners. It does keep my dogs in the cargo space but if they really wanted to, they could easily bend this forward and climb into the back. The fact that something is in their way is enough to deter one of them but the other does like to test its limits. I feel like if I don't tell him "No", he could climb into the back.Overall, I like this product for the price but I wish it wouldn't bend so easily.

Lightweight even in the frame
This is great to keep my lurcher from getting too close to the front seats. But as I have a Mini Estate the fixings don't seem to work for the small size of my car but I have managed to install in in a different manner & it's really good.

More of a mental than physical barrier but works GREAT for my pup and the price can't be beat!
It's not the strongest barrier in the world, a determined dog could definitely climb over it, but for the price you can't go wrong. My dog can also fit between the window and the side of the headrest in the back, so she could get into the middle/front of the car if she wanted to but she stays in the back no problem (she sometimes does squeeze through if she's left in the car alone). You can see through the barrier no problem, I don't even notice that it's there and I love that it makes no noise whatsoever (a lot of the cage ones rattle and slip around).

Fits Chevy Volt Gen 2
Quick and easy to install. I had to flip it upside down to fit the cargo area / back seats. Otherwise, it hits the hatch when installed right side up. A bit more adjustment would be nice. Also, the straps use double d-rings which are fine, but buckles would be quicker to remove and replace. Overall, it does the job of keeping my hound out of the backseat!

useless
this so called barrier is nothing but an annoyance, its way to flimsy and poorly designed. Its more of a physiological barrier and thats assuming it doesn't get knocked down accidentally by a mere gaze.

Support
This item is not what it was cracked up to be, my dog found his way through it, around it and over it. It was destroyed the first week.
