BrotherInnovis A65 sewing machine

Took me a while to get used to it as always gad the old type of machine. Lots of bells and whistles to get used to. Very sturdy, I don't find the threading that easy, can't get on with the threader so always thread manually but it's getting easier the more I use it. Machine not too heavy. A bit dissappointed with the cover which doesn't clip in place just sits over the machine and leaves the citton spool exposed, so will probably buy a bag to store it in. Not yet used all the attachments but very pleased with bit so far, ideal for those who are more than a beginner but not that experienced.

Brother sewing machines are so easy to get up and sewing, they also have a Brilliant handbook with it, which is invaluable.

This machine is easy to use and seas really well. It has all the functionality a beginner and intermediate might wish to use and copes well with thick materials. I am absolutely loving it.

Bought this for my other half's birthday after reading reviews of it being very good from several different experts.They were right, she loves it and hasn't put it away since. Read the reviews and then wait for Amazon to knock £50 off, which is what I did and then buy it.

I own several sewing machines including a Bernina as my main machine but wanted something lighter to take to my sewing group. This machine is fairly lightweight but packs a punch in terms of ability and features. It has a fantastic auto needle threader which is fool proof and a better design than my modern expensive Bernina and it also has an auto thread cutter which I find invaluable.I don’t need hundreds of fancy stitches as I have an embroidery machine for that purpose but there are enough fun stitches to prettify an otherwise ordinary project.I made some Tote bags recently using curtain fabric and it sewed effortlessly over some fairly thick seams where the straps are attached. Remember to go slowly over any especially bulky bits and it will trundle along quite happily.

I upgraded to this machine from an entry level Brother and I am so happy with my new purchase! It is much smoother and quieter than my old one, it has lots of different stiches and the automatic needle threader is great! I would recommend this machine to anyone.
