This Olive oil is the real deal. Having returned from a trip in Greece and Turkey, I was searching for an authentic and premium olive oil order-able from the US to recreate all of the delicious Mediterranean dishes I had enjoyed over there. Heraclea is that oil. Since receiving it, I have used the Early Harvest oil on a Greek salad and it perfectly complimented and held its own against the more acidic vegetables. I’ve used the Late Harvest to sauté with, in tomato sauce, and for dipping bread in and the mild butteriness is perfect for that. Lastly, I did a direct taste comparison with typical supermarket Olive oils I had been using previously and the difference in quality was eye-opening. Heraclea olive oil is more FRESH, more flavorful, and better quality than pretty much anything other Olive oil you will find in the states. It’s pretty easy to get 10-15% off which makes it well worth the money. 5 stars will be ordering again! Hope this helps.

So, I'm not usually the type to gush over kitchen stuff, but this Heraclea "The Pairing" thing? Pretty cool, actually. Didn't think I'd taste much difference between the Early and Mature Harvest but there's definitely something there. The Early one's kinda zesty? And the Mature one's smoother. Also, that pour spout - didn’t think I needed one, but turns out I did. Lol. The box it comes in is pretty too. Makes it feel fancy, even if it’s just for me. If you're into olive oils or looking for a solid gift, give this a try.

The two oils have distinctly different flavors the first press edgy and fragrant the more mature press milder and sweeter. What a treat!

Very good present and very good quality and taste. I like how the bottle looks it’s very pretty and tastes great. I like the pour spout to have it makes it easier to use when cooking. It is a wonderful present!
