Good chair, good price. What more do you want?
This is a really well built chair. The price isn't too bad. This is the perfect chair if you are not wanting to spend more that $100 for a gaming chair. Just wait for it to go on sale below $100 otherwise full price is slightly above that which is still not bad of a price. Watch out for the negative reviews. I have read through and a lot of those are misleading. Or people just wanting to be difficult and give a lower rating than normal. Also for what it's worth, this chair has a weight limit of 250 pounds, but I weigh close to 350 and this chair is supporting my weight. I don't recommend you getting this chair if you are heavier than 350 though, that's where things could become an issue but I'd say for almost any chair there is a 100 pound threshold. With the exception of the $50 chair that I was using for 4 years. That chair had a weight limit of 150 pounds and I was using that as my work and gaming chair and had no problems and I have been 300+ the last 4 years. If you made it this far I should probably also tell you that I sit in this chair probably 16 hours a day total if not more. I have had 0 pain issues and it remains comfortable throughout the entire day. Now on to the not so positives: The instructions are weird. If you made it this far this will really help you out. The instructions say to put the arms on the base, then put the base on the pedestal that you put into the wheels so the chair is almost put together then it tells you to put the base on afterward. Do not do this. I skipped doing that because I knew it would be a hard time. I don't know how hard because I skipped that step but still put the base and the back and arms on all together before you sit the chair on the base pedestal. Your set up will be much easier if you go this route. If you made it this far, thank you for reading and hit that helpful button if you found this review helpful. Have a great day and happy gaming in your new chair. Or gaming and working if ya'll work from home like I do. :)

This is one of the best chairs I have ever purchased and at a great price point!
THE ESSENTIALS RACING STYLE LEATHER GAMING CHAIR Essentials Racing Style Leather Gaming Chair - Ergonomic Swivel Computer, Office or Gaming Chair, Blue (ESS-3085-BLU) , Is a quality chair that even I can sit in comfortably. Assembly was fine as I followed the directions which were easily explained. I left the bolts a little loose during assembly so I could move parts around during assembly. It will make your life easier trust me. the fabric is nice quality and the hydraulic tube works very well to raise and lower the chair. the only thing about using an allen wrench to assemble it is that it doesn't allow 360 degree rotation of the wrench as other parts prevent it and it takes a least twice as much time reset the wrench for each turn. Many pieces of office furniture use these allen wrenches for assembly and it is a common problem. I would like to see the manufacturers use an allen drive with a handle similar to a screw driver similar to this Wrench Uxcell a13112000ux0267 6mm Red Plastic T Shape Handle Metal Tip Hex Hexagon Wrench . It should not be very costly and would be more pleasurable for assembly especially for someone with smaller or arthritic hands. This is one of the best chairs I have ever purchased and at a great price point! Negative: UPS dropped this box in the middle of my gravel driveway instead of the back porch. My wife could not use our hand truck to get it inside from the gravel so the box had to remain outside until I arrived home several hours later. The box was partially opened from possibly being dropped as the tape had separated on the top. Luckily snow had melted and we had no rain. VERY DISSATIFIED WITH UPS! The upside to the shipping problem was that this unit was packed in a box inside another box and well packed. No damage occurred to the fabric or any parts.

Great chair, but recline is very shallow
Great chair, feel great. I enjoy how the cushions are fairly firm all around the chair, though the armrests are a bit softer than the rest of the chair. The chair came in a box with writing and images on it to let everyone know I had a green gaming chair. Contents inside were all wrapped in plastic (for protection) that was fairly easy to remove. Installation took me 15-minutes, primarily due to having a broken foot. All necessary tools were included - A single Allen key. The box also included a couple extra screws and screw covers which was nice. Instructions and parts were well labeled and very easy to decipher. Once I had the chair together, as per the directions, I began resting things out. My only real complaint is that it doesn't go back quite as far as I'd like I use this chair for gaming and general computer use, and it sits great for that. But I also like leaning back with my feet up and watching a movie. Te chair doesn't go lean back as far as I'd like. I'm still sitting very much upright. But that's really my only complaint. The chair rolls well and the tilt is adjustable (though not as far as I'd like), and the cushion is firm but comfortable. If you're looking for a plush cushion, this is NOT the chair for you. The chair adjusts up and down via hydraulic device. The reclining portion of the chair also has a lock to prevent subtle reclining. Easy setup, the leather is comfy, the fabric breaths easily, and in short, it's a pretty good chair. 4/5 Because of the reclining, or lack there of.

Incredibly comfortable and color is rad too
I got this chair to replace an old one that had run its course for sure. The chair is awesome and has very good back support which is crucial because I am an IT professional and spend many hours on the computer at a time. Both the legs and arm supports feel like very sturdy plastic that should be able to take a beating and the added benefit of having the arm rests able to fold out of the way is a nice perk. I ordered the acid green colored chair and it definitely adds a bit of flair especially on my youtube channel when I do recordings. The mesh parts on the chair seem to be very durable as well as it has stronger fabric sewn to the mesh underneath it which I believe will prevent most tearing. The cushioning is very supportive and doesn't feel like it will "flatten" out like my other chairs did over prolonged use. I would absolutely recommened this chair especially for anyone looking for something more than a task chair. The only possible downsides I could see people might have is (1.) assembly is required and (2.) the back and seat part of the chair once assembled are a "solid" piece so you won't be able to adjust the back part only the tilt of the chair. That being said it is very comfortable and has a good amount of tilt that can lock into place. Also the assembly was incredibly easy and I was able to do it by myself in less than 20 minutes including unboxing and all.

Relax and enjoy your computer screen for hours on end.
I'm a middle aged exec who was looking for an inexpensive office chair to replace my broken down task chair. This has fit the bill. It is a very beefy, comfortable chair. m 6 feet tall, however I think the chair is designed for a sweet spot of five feet five to five feet ten inches tall. I think the chair will break in and be comfortable anyways even if I'm a couple inches taller than the sweet spot. Assembly took me 1/2 hour and I'm not very mechanically oriented (although I was proud I completed the assembly because it was a bit challenging). Some people have complained (and rightly so) that the arms and the back holes/threads don't seem to "line up". The trick is to put the arms and back of the chair on loose so that you can adjust everything, get it to fit together, then tighten all the bolts just finger snug. Keep the bolts slack by about 1/3 of an inch all the way around, the arms and the back, then move things around with your hands until it lines up. It won't be easy, but it's not impossible either. I did it myself (and as I said, I'm not mechanically inclined). The chair isn't really a radical green like in the photo, more like a muted green. The chair arms are adjustable, so you can adjust one up a little if you need more support for your mouse arm. The chair has quite a bit of lumbar support, to the point that I can' lie back the full length of the chair (maybe if I was shorter). There is an adjustment for tilt, however I don't tilt so I kept it snug and upright. All told, this is an outstanding value as a "gaming" chair for a teenager or an office chair for an old fogey like me. A very minor word of advice, I would recommend, after you use the chair for a few weeks, to go back and snug up each of the bolts. Just to be cautious and to avoid squeeks. Then relax, enjoy your computer screen for hours on end!

Great Chair
Essentials Racing Style Leather Gaming Chair - Ergonomic Swivel Computer, Office or Gaming Chair, Green (ESS-3085-GRN) My old Staples Torrent Car Chair finally bit the dust. I've had it 7 long years now, and decided to give this a try for several reasons, not the least of which is the amazing warranty. To give you an idea, the Staples chair only came with a limited 1 year warranty. This chair comes with a 4 year fabric warranty, and a 7 year warranty on the gas lift. Considering I had to replace my gas lift on the Staples chair twice in seven years, this is a great deal! I've attached photos showing the unpacking and assembly process. Some Tips: The bottom of the seat does not say "Front" on it anywhere. However, it has little R and L stickers. When you flip over the seat to attach the base, the R sticker should be on your left. When you flip it over to mount it on the chair after attaching the arms and the back, the R sticker will be under your right arm. The base has the word "front" written on it, and I had a hard time getting a picture because it's molded into the metal and I didn't have great lighting. When you are installing the base, you will have two smaller screws for the rear, and two larger screws (from the assortment in the parts packet in the pictures) to install it with. Do not get these confused. A pro tip: gently install the rear screws half way before installing the front screws, it keeps you from getting them confused. If you drop a screw, or by some unfortunate disaster are shorted a screw, fear not! The parts packet contains one extra of everything, so you won't be short after all. The chair lifts slightly higher than my old chair, which is great. has some resistance when leaning back, which is also good. The arms are a little stiff, but I attribute that to being new. The fabric is crisp, but the mesh might wear into your arms if you spend lots of time in the chair. So be prepared if you spend a lot of your chair time with bare arms on the mesh. This may change as it wears in. Assembly was fast and easy. The screw mounts were straight and even, easily seen and identified, and the arms fit into place just fine. Having assembled chairs for a living at one point, I can tell you that not every manufacturer makes sure for these steps. I strongly recommend this chair so far, and will let you know if that changes over the life of it.

Starts off good, starts to decay too fast as time passes
I've had this chair for close to 3 years, so I figure it's high time for a review. It was immediately and noticeably more comfortable than my previous chair. That isn't saying a whole lot, but pains I often had with that one were eliminated once getting the Essentials. The comfort level hasn't changed much over time (save for the right armrest wear the padding has lessened from use), but sometimes I have to force myself to sit in a certain manner. I don't weigh much, but I've had no mechanical problems with the seat itself either. The price (especially when I got it on sale) is also attractive. What time has not been kind to is the rest of the chair. Within a year or so, the left armrest could only go fully up or fully out; it could no longer hold itself at any angle in between. The right armrest only works at 50* or higher. The part of the cushion that I sit on has started tearing/ripping away within the past 6 months, sticking to myself or my clothing and falling everywhere when I get up. The black fabric below the green (or other colored) mesh started cracking after a year. Those tears rather hurt when I accidentally rub my arm against them. If you don't use this chair for more than 6-8 hours a day, it's a good purchase. The longer your session or overall ownership of this, the more likely you'll probably want something that is more durable. The work from home version definitely highlights that spending the majority of your day in it is not super ideal. Started out as 4.5 or 4 out of 5, down to 3.5 or 3 out of 5 after a few years.

Comfy and really sturdy chair !!
Very comfy chair, supports my weight so far and im 300 lbs. I know it said 250 but it doesnt have any issues yet.. I love how the arm fold up so i can roll the chair under my desk when my done, i couldnt do that with my old chair or other chairs with stationary arms.. And if i got a chair with arms lower then my desk then my elbows had no support when i was gaming so my arms and elbows were hanging down.. The arms on this chair are high enough and match my keyboard and mouse level perfectly. Also since im a big guy i have big legs and chairs with arms that have supports bolted on the side of the cushion rub against my outer legs. I cant open my legs and and its very uncomfortable . This one the arm mount to the back and bottom of the cushion so i can open my legs as wide as i want with nothing pressing against the sides of them. No seriously strong smells from this chair and it a sticker under it that it has no cancer causing chemicals in it. So thats good. The Back support is really good specially for the lower back as the chair bends inward down there for lumbar support. So happy i finally got a new chair.. my old one was 8 years old and falling apart.. Im not sure why some bad reviews noted the bolts dont line up but my holes lines up perfectly i have no issues putting it together. There is plenty of support for my butt and tailbone too.

Generalmente no escribo reseñas.

Awesome chair!
The included instructions were pretty straight forward and my son and I had the chair assembled in 20 mins. We did run into the same issue as other reviewers, with the chair back being a tight fit when assembling as per the instructions. Leaving one armrest fairly loose while positioning the chair back was a simple remedy and we had the chair completed in no time. This gaming chair looks and feels amazing! The leather is extremely soft, not sure if that's a good thing in terms of durability/wear, but I certainly love the feel. The green fabric is soft with a more textured feel. The green color is vibrant and accents the black leather nicely, so sexy! lol The padding, especially in the seat, is thick and dense, making it very comfortable. After several sessions of continuous hours of use, there was no sign of back/bottom/leg fatigue nor deformation in the seat cushion. The armrests are sturdy and have the same textured fabric over padding, as the seat/back. They can be raised 90 degrees, aligning with the chair back. I really like this feature as it allows me to place the chair into/under the desk when not in use, without having to worry about clearence for the arms. This is also beneficial for those requiring a wider seating or playing guitar etc.. Height adjustments, tilt and swivel all function as should. Caster wheels are basic, solid plastic and provide a smooth glide. This gaming chair does not come with all the "bells and whistles" of some of the much more expensive gaming chairs. Full recline, extendable footrest, removable/positionable head and lumbar cushions etc.. But this chair did not come with that hefty price tag either. I purchased this gaming chair while on-sale at $86, which is a steal! Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this gaming chair. Very comfortable, premium racing style design, soft leather/fabric materials, flip up arms.... I have yet to find a comparable chair at this price point. My only regret is not purchasing a 2nd while still on-sale. Will keep an eye on future sales and pick up 1 maybe 2(wife is jealous lol) more if given the chance. Definitely recommend this gaming chair. It's sexy! 5+ ★★★★★ If you've found this review helpful, please click the button below. Thank you!
