A bit powdery, not as rich as I had hoped.

Great flavor and so many uses

I'd buy all of Judee's cheese powders if they didn't have disodium phosphate in them. Thought I'd give the blue cheese powder a try but I actually taste the preservative, it gives a chalky undertone to the cheese. And I looked up how the phosphate affects your body - not something I want to consume. I dehydrate cheeses at home, which is a lot of work, and know if stored correctly, cheese powders stay fresh and clump free for ages. Such a shame manufacturers dump chemicals into our foods like this....

If you like the white pat of the blue cheese you may like this but, if you like the funky moldy part of the blue cheese, like I do. You will not like this powder. It gets close but, not close enough for me.

This doesn’t taste like blue cheese. It’s a great cheese powder but it doesn’t taste like blue cheese.
