Initially during the first 3 days of use I didn't notice any difference in my mood however once I hit 4 days of use I noticed after consuming I would have a good 4-6 hours were I felt a little more energy and a pinch happier and less worried about things. I also noticed however that after that 4-6 hours it was almost like flipping a switch and I would suddenly get more tired than usual. Given this I am now only taking it periodically if I feel I need a boost.This is my first time using Mucuna so I cannot compare it to other brands but I have to believe it is doing what it is suppose to given the effect it has on me. I am giving these a 5 star rating because I find them easy to take, they seem to work as described, and the price seems fair at the time of this review.

The mucuna pruriens plant is full of protein, fatty acids, starches , and a small amount of amino acids. In addition this plant is also full of protease inhibitors, total phenolics, oligosaccharides , and has anti-diabetic effects. It has even been shown to lower blood pressure mostly through its high amount of L-dopa. It would be wise to consult with your physician before use. If you are suffering from any of the above ailments this could be quite helpful to you. Lastly, I cant find any information regarding why it would be listed but on the bottle there is a Prop 65 warning for Lead, I would like for the seller to make note of this and explain.

I really can't say I noticed anything taking these. They are easy to take and for me had no after taste. I take a variety of supplements so again I really didn't notice anything different.

This seems to be an okay quality Mucuna so far.- Capsules are easy to swallow- No odd aftertaste or ill effects- Price/Value is very good- Label has no apparent GMP stamp and no claim of 3rd party lab testing (I haven't seen a COA yet either)I haven't had any problem taking these, but I'm only giving 4 stars for now until I have a chance to view a COA from the company for this product. If/when I receive that, I'll revise my review accordingly. As of now, I probably wouldn't buy again.

We take Mucuna to help with mood/stress, etc. by raising our dopamine levels. We like it. Anybody interested in this will want to do some research on its effects. Dr. Herbalist is a legit product which has a parent company, with a website, (Hemani), that has been around a long time and carries lots of supplements. This made me feel comfortable enough to try this product. The back of the label with the information is not shown on the product information page, so I'm including a photo of it. The contents are simply 350mg of mucuna extract per capsule with no additional filler. The price is pretty good for a two month supply.

I have been using Dr. Herbalist Mucuna Extract 350mg for a while now, and I am very impressed with the results. The 60 capsules are convenient and easy to take. Being non-GMO and vegetarian is a huge plus for me. I have noticed a significant improvement in my overall well-being since incorporating this supplement into my daily routine. I got these after having read that mucuna is helpful in boosting epinephrine (adrenaline) and norepinephrine to give a notable boost to energy and focus, without the edgy qualities that might come from the use of stimulant medications--that's my paraphrasing Sanesco's words on the subject.I figure that it's worth a shot...I'll report back on how I feel after using it for a while.

As with all supplements, always check with your healthcare provider before using a new supplement.Mucuna is know for its good properties and health benefits but you should do your own research before committing to it.The capsules are easy to swallow and do not have an aftertaste.I like this supplement and highly recommend it.
