I love this grill for my Italian Sausage and have used it many times. The sausages are naturally curved and you cannot get a good sear of a curved item cooking in a skillet. The indentations in this grill perfectly fit the 5 sausages and turns off when ready. Love it.

This is a pretty good grill but it falls behind the Johnsonville Sausage Griller. However, seeing this griller is about 1/3 - 1/4 the price it’s a decent option for the price. I was surprised the grease tray did not attach to the unit it just sits under the front of the unit. It captures the grease quite well but you will not want to knock the tray or you may have grease all over. I kind of prefer it over an attached tray as I found the one on the Johnsonville did not always slide easily which was difficult when the tray was full of grease. The Nostalgia unit does not have a temperature probe, unlike Johnsonville which places the probe in the third bay of the sausage tray. Not a huge deal but it would be a nice to know for certain the sausage has been cooked to the correct temperature for safe eating. With the Nostalgia unit you have to guess when they are done. Probably the thing I like the least on the Nostalgia unit is the sausage does not get browned all the way around. The middle of the outside of the sausage will turn a nice brown color but not the edges. The Johnsonville unit is far superior in this regard. If you’re looking for a decent enough griller at a great price point, the Nostalgia fits the bill.

I love this thing! So handy not to have to run out to the grill when the weather is t the greatest. It’s quick to heat up, super easy to use, and super easy to clean! No regrets! Buy this thing! I really wanted the Johnsonville one, but couldn’t see why it costs so much more. Get this one—you won’t be disappointed!

Cooks sausage easily. But cleanup would be better if the grill plates were removable for cleaning

Cooker is excellent. Not only cooks Brats also cooks Sausage and hot dogs evenly. A great buy

OK FROM THE BOTTOM UP..... THERE WA A TINY DING IN THE TOP ( I WAS NOT CONCERED ) THE HINGES ARE WOBBLY AND YOU HAVE TO ADJUST EACH TIME YOU CLOSE THE LID. CONCERNING BUT NOT THE WORST. I AM OLD ! THIS THING SAID EASY CLEAN. MY MIND SAID OK THAT MEANS THE 2 GRILL PARTS CAN BE REMOVED AND PUT IN THE DISH PAN OR DISH WASHER. EASY! NO NO THIS THING DOES NOT COME APART. YOU HAVE TO WIPE OR SCUBB IT CLEAN RINSE IT ETC. CLEANING 12 LITTLE SLOTS AND ALL THE EDGES AND GROOVES BY HAND IS NOT EASY CLEANING! I THINK THE ADVERTISING IS MISLEADING. DON'T TELL ME JUST WIPE IT AND PUT IT AWAY. I LIVE IN THE SOUTH AND NO WAY AM I GOING TO JUST WIPE AND PUT AWAY SO ALL THE GREASE IN THE GROOVES ETC CAN FEED THE BUGS AND GROW MOLD. THE DRIP PAN DOES NOT ATTACH IN ANY WAY AYWHERE. YOU JUST SIT IT THERE. EVERY TIME SOMONE SLIGHTLY TOUCHES THIS THING TO REMOVE A SAUAGE THE DRIP PAN MOVES. USELESS ! OBVIOUSLY NOT HAPPY, MRS.
