Great cables quality build
I bought these to rewire my media cabinet as the cables were mismatched and I have just upgraded most of my equipment to gigabit and wanted all cables to be gigabit compatible. Devices in cabinet currently are: amazon fire tv, xbox one, sky box I also have a gigabit powerline running from another room that runs in my cable for my media server that runs plex which works great with the amazon fire tv. I ordered the multi coloured pack as I wanted to identify straight away which device I am connecting or disconnecting with following cables or labelling cables as this looks poor. The cables have good quality connectors on and also look funky shame there hidden once plugged in really. Another nice touch was that each individual cable had the same colour cable ties on each cable as opposed to the standard boring black ones we always get. Once I had finished rewiring all my devices back up I tested network speed between my media server and downstairs connection and I was very happy It had increased by 2mb which to be fair my connection was already great and to increase on this was an added bonus. I will be buying more of these soon to rewire my computer room.

Well made and do the job. Excellent product.
Does the job.Having ordered these cables before at a different length I know what I was getting.I had ordered ones from a different supplier which were slightly cheaper claiming the same Cat6 shielding etc but when they arrived they were clearly not with my losing over 10MBits over the network.Ordered these to replace previous ones with shorter ones for the server for a neater look and all working great. Back to max transfer speeds. These cables are well made and do the job.Highly recommended at any length.

Good cheap CAT6 cables F/STP
I've been replacing my CAT5/5E UTP cables with CAT6/6A FTP (or STP where cheap) but until now favoured those supplied by Amazon itself for easy delivery, VAT and possible replacement/refund if needed. But the price, even at lowest for 10 cables would have been at least 2x the cost of this set. So took a chance. They are grey (dark) so normally inoffensive in a home/office - and also claim to be F/STP not F/UTP as most so fully shielded - though at 1m length and 1GBe it is not likely to matter. Hopefully they will work with future 2.5 and 5GBe equipment - though 10GBe may as well go for CAT6A for a little price difference. They were supplied without kinks and passed the network cards' (Intel server) frequency tests. Perhaps I will cut one to make sure it is STP but even if it were F/UTP should still be good.

Very fine CAT5e/CAT6 leads but these are NOT up to specification for high speed.
These were supposed to be CAT6a patch leads. The title says they're compatible with CAT6a and CAT7.They're compatible in the sense that they fit 8P8C sockets, and do maintain shielding, but they don't meet CAT6a tests. I tested a few of them and the impedance was wrong on some pairs, and the capacitance varied. Close, but close isn't good enough. If you're running 10G Ethernet or higher, these won't do the job. At 1Gbase-T they'll be fine. Pity, as I love the colours and they're fine for 1Gbase-T or slower - I may actually buy more.(Note: If you're not familiar with CAT ratings, be aware that CAT6A is a newer specification than CAT7, which was never a TIA standard anyway. CAT6A or CAT8 are the current for very high speed networks. For domestic or normal office networking such as PCs, CAT5e or CAT6 is fine).

Tailored for a specific job
Makes coordinating your ethernet outputs so much easier. When issues arise you simply match the colour up with the room and diagnosing issues is soooo much easier. Well made and not flimsy.

perfectly formed
Bought these for use in a home-hub wiring closet where the router is adjacent to lots of items. I was going to do my own but these cannot be beat for value and they have a really solid snap-in feel. Haven't carried out any bit-rate testing. Was going to go for 0.25m but glad I didnt as these really do come up smaller than you might expect. but they get used up really quickly neverthelss as I now have them deployed behind the TV to connect humax, sonos, speaker, repeater etc. So really handy and will probably buy some more at 1m too. Because we live in such a wireless world :)
