Great product.
Well made. Durable. Annd...looks good too.Note: This shift hanlde is all metal. On hot days it will absorb heat and sometimes be hot to the touch for a short time after you start driving if you have parked in full sunlight.Options:(1) Lace a leather sleeve around the handle.(2) Buy a set of large (good looking) motorcycle handle grips and slide one onto the shifter.(3) Cut a length of foam AC insulating tube and slide it onto the shifter.(4) Leave it alone. Its not a big deal. Why cover up a good looking shifter? The gray option looks a little like gun metal.UPDATE and..Still looks brand new. Atill works great! And on another topic about this itwm...I have been asked this question about its compatibility with at least 10 or 15 vehicles. Unforrunately, since I have never owened any of them I can't be sure of the answer. What I can say is, that using Amazons Automitive search function works. This is different from the search at the top of the page. You must enter all your info (Make, Model, Year, etc.). The system will list the components you ask for and tell you either "This will fit your ...". Or, "This will not fit your..."This is how I knew to order this item. It is a well made and good looking replacement for an Green Automatic 2000 Honda Accord EX.I have used this function successfully for several parts needed for different vehicles. Only once did it fail when it said that spark plug wires would fit the Accord. This was incorrect because the car uses coils.Obviously, the plug wires were ignored in favor of the coils which were also in the search results. They were bought and installed with good results.I'd rather not guess and send some Gent, or Gentress the wrong answer. We all know how frustrating it is to get a part back to the shop (ie. Garage / Shade Tree) only to find out it doesn't fit.So, the best I can offer in answering questions about whether this item will fit a particular vehicle is...Use the Amazon Automotive search function to find out."That is alll."

2015 Chevy Cruze automatic
Fit perfect, had to flip the adaptor so it actually pressed the button on the shifter down so I picked the hardest one out of the 3, dropped her on and tightened it all down with no preload of the button and it works amazingly. I was actually surprised I didn’t have to do my jimmy rigging but I’m happy 😃

There is no function to the button
I really liked the look of this shift handle, and the price was right too. The problem is that the push button has no purpose. The plastic adaptors are closed at the top to keep the shifter button depressed and rendering the button function inoperable. This is DANGEROUS!! With this shift knob the button does NOTHING and can lead to the driver accidently shifting into reverse or park without having to depress the button. This is unacceptable and could be easily solved by the manufacturer placing a plastic/nylon rod in the shifter cavity that would depress the linkage in the shifter. JUNK in every sense of the word, I didn't bother installing the knob and am returning it for a refund.

Fits 98 Honda Civic CX
Worked great for 98 Honda Civic CX. Would be nice if it had instructions to do the installation. I figured that you had to cut to size the rubber adapter so the button would be able to press down the shift gear and there wasn't constant metal to metal contact. Very solid metal in my opinion.

Looks Incredible, Feels Ok
Fit perfect on my 1999 Acura Integra. Definitely improved the look, but as the stock one has a side push button this just made it worse ergonomically. It comes with some set screws which go into the three holes on the handle, that's what holds it in place against the pole of the shifter. It gives it a pretty firm hold. The thread size for this knob and the thread size on the shifter pole on this car are actually the same so I could use a screw to go into the pole along with 2 of the set screws for an even better hold. I didn't do that though because it would sit higher than I want it to be.The button is hard to push down and and is quite noisy as it comes, but if you take the spring out and cut it shorter it reduces the tension and makes it much easier to press down. To get rid of the noise I just put some grease up where the spring is, along with a bit on the sides where the button rubs the knob since that also makes a bit of noise. I didn't use any of the rubber pieces included as I wanted the shifter lower and it worked perfectly fine with the way this shifter works.

Not bad!
This is literally what you pay for lol. Don't expect high grade metal or finish, but I will you the seems of the threaded portion are non existent and it's overall well made. I noticed that with the package it gave no instructions, but it's pretty simple and straight forward. I put this on a 2010 Chevy Cobalt this is the 4 speed automatic. Installation took about 30 mins give or take cause I couldn't figure out the orientation of the pin needed to engage the shifter. Any Cobalt 2005-2010 will have a white or black pin inside rhe auto shifter handle that will need to be installed I'm the new handle. I just tapped it and it fell out. That pin will have a fraction circle side and a barbed hook side the flat side goes downward inside the new handle. Then you place the handle on the shifter and this is where I got confused.. This handle has a button atop of it, but when I got it secured I noticed I never had to press the button. You see, this isn't a bad thing for me or maybe others cause I can go between gears without pressing anything now and I love that! It's so smooth! But what gets me is the button looks tacky as hell, and it's like I already this making it kind of ricer, but that button is ugly! So I'll be changing to a different one soon, but this one did the job! It's clean for any young kid and their first auto car they fix up and make unique to them!
